Fast and works well
surprisingly its not built like trash it dosent feel cheap even though it was but im not going off how it feels so it works well connecting usb 3.0 to 3.0 , 3.1 and 2.0 theres no issues and its quite fast its easy to use just MAKE SURE youre hard drive doesnt need a separate cable for SATA power anyway its small enough to fit in a your pocket or like a suitcase

Crap. Starts ok. Then junk.
Running into a problem a couple times. Not 100% sure if it is the item or the windowz garbage software. I keep an 2tb solid drive connected for storage. 1st of 3 of these I have "burned out"(?) or whatever and will now stay register for long. have to unplug and plug back in to reset. Then later on it cuts out again. This 3rd of 3 one is doing it a couple times now. 1 of 3 does not work at all on another pc I have set up. 2 of 3 is working ok. But not on a PC that is as power user based as this one I am on now. Good as an overall choice. May just have to work out port issues or the like with it.2nd or 3rd one of these I bought. They all do the same. start out ok. Then in a couple months the usb fails to recognize. It keeps disconnecting and you have to unplug to get it to reset. God knows garbage windows don't help but did the whole thing. Reset the usb driver. made sure the "hibernate" usb is off. etc.Not advised product.

Worked great, for a while
This little guy worked just fine for about six months, but all of the sudden, it's not reading the SSD anymore and the "access" light does not light up. I tested it in my actual larger PC using SATA connections and it recognizes it immediately, so it's obviously the adapter's fault. Wish this lasted longer than it did, but it's cheap enough to buy another.
