Critically Better than Emeet Luna
I bought this to replace an Emeet Luna that did not live up to my expectations, and this Jabra is exactly what I was looking for. I needed one of these devices--Emeet Luna or Jabra Speak 710--to do three things: (1) connect to my computer for use with Webex, (2) connect to my mobile phone for higher quality phone conversations, and (3) transition between these uses seamlessly. Though Emeet Luna is one-third the cost of Jabra Speak 710, the lower price of the Emeet is irrelevant to me because it did not accomplish the three things I was looking for. Jabra Speak 710 did. The biggest short fall on the Emeet was with number 3. Even when I had it connected to computer through the USB, connecting it to my phone would disconnect it from the computer, and vice versa. So I had to keep the Emeet connected to my computer, and if I wanted to use it for a phone call, I had to go into my phone settings and connect it to the phone manually. Besides being a pain to do this every time I needed to make a call, I simply couldn't get it connected to the phone fast enough before answering when people called me. Additionally, the Emeet would shut off when I put my computer to sleep and would not turn back on automatically when I woke the computer up. So every day, I had to turn the speaker on by holding down the button on the speaker. That's all to say that the Emeet did not give me the experience I expected and simply didn't work for what I needed it. I also had an issue with number 1, because the Emeet would cut out and have static and interference during video calls (something I’ve never had an issue with using other speakers, including the now the 710). Jabra Speak 710, on the other hand, stays connected to my computer (through the USB) and my phone (through Bluetooth) at the same time. When I turn off my computer (or put it to sleep), Jabra Speak 710 automatically shuts off and disconnects from my phone. This is perfect because when I shut off my computer, I’m done working and don’t need the speaker phone anymore. The next day when I turn on my computer, Jabra Speak 710 automatically turns on, connects to the computer, AND connects to my phone. So I can use it for a video conference, and as soon as I get off the video conference, if someone calls me, I can hit the answer-phone button on the Jabra Speak 710, and boom, it’s like I’m talking on my speaker phone back in the office. A few other small distinguishing characteristics that also help explain the difference in price. Jabra Speak 710 is much higher quality. It looks better and feels better to use. The Speak 710 has a nice stand so that the speaker can face you. The speaker on the 710 also seems ten times better than the Luna; I actually enjoy listening to music on it, whereas the Luna did not sound good for music. In short, make sure you’re getting something that will actually meet your needs. Another caution about the Luna: I got a card with it offering a $10 gift card for writing a review. Whatever the intent of these types of things are, people tend to write five-star reviews when trying to get the gift cards, sometimes even when the product doesn’t deserve it. So I bet the Luna is overrated, and it certainly seemed that way to me.

710 MS and UC Both Work With WebEx Mute Button Synchronization via USB
I have been trying to figure out whether the MS version or the UC version is required for WebEx usage. I now have both to test and they both work the same way; the mute button when pressed in WebEx synchronizes with the speaker red LED ring and vice-versa. When you press the mute button on the speaker itself it also shows the mute icon on-screen for both the MS and the UC variants (309 and 409 models.) The MS that I just bought was $78 cheaper than the UC for some reason, so if using WebEx either version will work fine as far as I can tell. For the review: 1. Sound quality / realism is excellent. Not muffled, high fidelity very loud but easily adjustable to lower volumes. 2. Size is perfect, kickstand is awesome. 3. USB works great, and I use it that way 99% of the time. Rare use of BT works great too. 4. Price is high, but if you work on conference calls / WebEx all day, it ends up being worth it for the stability and clarity (I bought a second one for my wife.) 5. Music...not good enough. No bass, not stereo. Get a Marshall Stockwell II!

Works Perfectly! update - 1 yr
**I really love this thing. So, one year later I decided to add some pictures for everyone as well. No one ever complains about my calls, even with multiple people in a large room walking around. It's also become a great portable music player when I travel and don't want to bring something else like a color soundlink. Not amazing HiFi, but to travel with an amazing, light speakerphone that can also play music is a plus. I've also used the usb stick a few times now on PC's that don't have bluetooth for skype calls and Zoom calls. Easy and without issues. This really is an amazing conference speakerphone. Speaker is loud and clear for it's size. Call quality is great. People can hear you fine if you are walking around a room and are 6 inches or 6 feet away. Battery is better than expected and lasts about 6-10 hours of talk time depending on whether or not I listen to music on it as well. I bought it for the office, but I find myself always taking it home with me if I'm remote for the day.

Two Jabra 710 Units Linked in Large Conference Room
I have had good luck with the performance and sound quality of two Jabra 710 units running in linked mode and placed in the center of a large U-shaped table configuration in a large conference room space. The microphone pickup quality of the units is able to capture the discussion of participants at the table, and also of the presenter standing at the front of the room giving a presentation. Participants do sound more "distant" the further away from the units they happen to be sitting, but are still quite audible and clear. Sounding distant doesn't matter to my use case, but sounding clear matters a whole lot. In the configuration that I use, I also equip the person presenting with a stick microphone connected to speakers in the ceiling of this particular conference room, so that the presenter's voice is amplified even more, and the Jabra 710 units pick this up well. But even without this extra step, the people dialing in are able to hear the presenter clearly. As to the clarity and volume of the speaker output of these Jabra 710 units, those of us sitting in the room are very easily able to hear clearly the voices of those who have dialed in, to the degree that the speakers on these units are better sounding than on most of the in-room table top phones more commonly found in smaller conference rooms. I also recommend ensuring that the units are placed at a "table top" level that is planar to the table height of the table at which your meeting participants will be sitting.

Looks good, works good... but it's pricey.
Pros: Very easy to use, even for IT duds like me! Synced to phone no problem, hooked up and connected to the laptop for skype calls no problem. Cons: Sound quality is just okay, speaker seems to lack a bit on the low end. I think it's pretty pricey... but I am pretty cheap. Overall, you pay a bit extra but you get a great speaker for conference calls.

One of the better investments made
Yes, it was a little more than I wanted to spend on a speaker. But, totally worth it. Working from home for the last year and a half and spend 6+ hours every business day on conference calls and never had any issues with sound quality. No echos and even suppressed background noise from some construction work right outside my home office. Connect it via bluetooth to a windows laptop. Not the guy on conference calls who needs to be reminded to go on mute any more. Not once. That in itself is worth every penny. And top of that the conversations can be heard so much more in natural sounds than other bluetooth headsets I tried. One of the better investments I made.

Great Product - Very Versatile. Would highly recommend.
I purchased two Jabra Speak 710 for use during a larger meeting (40 - 60 participants). While they worked very well (we also tested them against an 810 and found them comparable - depends on your desired configuration and needs. I would recommend using the devices as recommended by Jabra for a board room (medium-sized) or smaller meeting spaces. Sound quality is very good. The syncing works well - and this is a huge plus when needed. My only comment that I've already shared with Jabra's very good technical support personnel is that I wish more of their products were able to be sync'd together (e.g., more than 2x 710s, or 2x 710s with an 810, etc.. I realize this creates some challenges from a hardware design standpoint, but if Jabra could pull that off, you'd have an even better product and many more loyal followers.

Good sound and microphone pickup
I'm having some issues with connectivity and sourcing from the speaker vs internal speaker. Could be my install since I see multiple instances for the Jabra. Otherwise I love it from meetings and conference calls, works as described.

Does a brilliant job even for a medium sized room. Music playback less good
Bought this to replace a (much cheaper USB wired) corporate Plantronics device that I'd lost. Started a physical + Skype meeting yesterday using the standard corporate "spider phone" in the room, after 5 minutes many on the phone couldn't hear people who were far from the phone. Connected the Jabra up to the Skype call (using the USB dongle on my Windows laptop to make it wireless, it connected within seconds), put it in the same place and everyone could hear. Amazing. Also very clear to hear people speaking and went plenty loud enough (we had about 12 people in our room (around 6m x 6m)). Was on battery for about 8 hours, didn't drop the connection once. Really impressed with this, although it's not cheap. I've tried it with music and the sound quality isn't that great so whilst fine as a conference speakerphone for <£100 you can buy much a better sounding music speaker.

Jabra imbattibile nelle conference call

Great Noise Cancelation
Tired of wearing a headset I was looking for a speakerphone. I was worried as I have a heat pump in the ceiling above my office and it has a bit of a hum. I didn’t want it to be heard when in meetings. Everyone tells me I’m clear and easy to understand and they can’t hear the hum. Works great with Teams. The only minor complaint I have is that it doesn’t function well as a speaker when not in meetings. It would be nice to use as its better sound than the laptop speakers, however, it mutes itself every time the audio source changes so not practical.
