I did not test how good the seal was. I hope I get some feedback soon from the user though! For something like this, I might add the tiniest amount of silicone grease around the edge, just for added insurance. I would also let it dry out after a day of use, so moisture doesn't get trapped inside (which just means it's doing its job). Overall, I think this is a good investment for holding your flies.
