This is so easy and so delicious. I keep buying more re. It’s my favorite Tikka Masala sauce/paste for home cooked meals.

I love Kichens of India Tikka Masala Paste. I can make my own paneer and then use this paste along with my choice of vegetables. I could never achieve the right blend of spices on my own. These packets have the perfect flavor. They are slightly spicy, which I like, but is a bit too hot for my spouse. Adding some cream cools down the heat level. Each packet makes about 4-5 servings depending on the amount of veggies and protein you add.

I agree with some others that it doesn't taste like Tika Masala I've had elsewhere. But you'll never order that dish in two different restaurants in the same town with the expectation that they will taste alike. Furthermore, it seems unrealistic to expect any mass produced, pre-packaged food ingredient to be as good as the dish we receive from a master chef, who has spent many years perfecting his skill. This is for the millions who don't have the master chef's skill. It's pretty good and makes a meal that most people will enjoy. And it's idiot-proof. Anyone who can turn on the stove and stir the pot will succeed. Besides its intended use, it makes a nice flavored rice. Dissolve 1 pack in 24 oz water, bring to a boil, add 8 oz basmati rice and simmer 20 minutes. Most of the liquid is absorbed by the rice, so the sauce will be relatively thick.

Our family LOVES Tikka Masala. Even my 5 and 7 year olds love it (only with naan though). This stuff is hot. Usually, we like Butter Chicken as well but that paste from Kitchens of India is even hotter than this stuff so we go with this. We have a variety of spicy lovers here at our home so we keep a jug of cream on the table when we serve this and those who like it less spicy add more cream. We don't follow directions and do milk instead of water for the recipe and add cream at the table to get to desired spiciness. I was reading and saw the chick pea idea which I like better than the cream idea since that seems a bit more healthy. Maybe we'll keep pureed chick peas at the table from now on instead of cream? Love this stuff though. We have it with naan at our house about every 2 weeks. With 8 of us, we usually make 3 or 4 packs at a time so we'd love for bigger packets to be available or have packs of 20+ available but bigger packs would be better to help save the environment a bit of trash. Our family lived overseas for quite a while so we look for easy ways to eat our favorite international cuisines. This is, by far, our favorite tikka masala flavor.
