But I didn't know what I was missing and seeking in my mantra-meetings with the Divine until I read the Mala lessons that are told in Bob Olson's bedside table-necessary-book, THE MAGIC MALA. I had had the list of mantras, and their meanings, along with learning about the energies of the stones or bones used to string and not them by hand. That being said, I am so glad he let us know what a great story teller he is by writing and publishing this novel of fiction. All those years of talking with people as an investigative reporter have given him the gift of conversation, and I am looking forward to more books from him. For so long I thought of myself as a victim stuck in a corner by those who "have it out for me". Those feelings are now evaporated from my limited mindset that I held onto as a crutch for survival mode for so many years! Great for beginners *by D***H on November 29, 2017* This book was not what I expected. This book is more on manifestation and limited beliefs. I’ve already been reading a lot about the topic, so I didn’t really get anything from this other than I really truly do want a mala- in fact I manifested one for free (it’s currently being made for me). I got this book because I recently have been wanting a mala. Overall the book is good and a great pick me up for anyone who is going through hard times.
