TP-Link AX3000 WiFi 6 Range Extender Internet Booster (RE700X)

Worked great until 1 day it stopped. I reached out to Glenn and tp link support and he made the return process easy. Device was under warranty and had no issues getting the return processed.

We FINALLY got fiber here at my remote rural farm, but the signal couldn't really make it around the house, so I tried this, set it up in 5 minutes and voila! Life saver. Very happy

I am experiencing issues with this device but Glenn from the customer support team was able to assist and troubleshoot the device. Figuring the device is bricked, the device is under warranty and will be replaced. Easy to work with.

This is the second T-C LINK Extender I purchased. Both units work great and extends my system as needed for some security cameras outside my home, yard and out buildings. I set both units up as an Access Points - as in 100 foot ethernet cable with the TP Link Extender broadcasting from there. This required some specific steps on the setup, but the Tech Help was great. (I'm no network pro - I actually hate messing with network settings.) Jobert was great about stepping me through the process. I had live tech help chat on my laptop - and used my phone to link to the unit for setup and settings page. NOTE: One thing that to be aware of is that when I paired my phone to the TP Link unit (like you would to a set of blue-tooth headphones) my phone kept reverting back and connecting to my main network that I have been using . I had to keep re-setting the phone pairing to the TP unit. Have to maintain this linking to access the online settings page for the TP unit. Once I kept a close eye on the phone linking, the process went smooth. Tech help was very knowledgeable on the setup and easily stepped me through the settings. Here is what I told Jobert. "It is so great to converse with someone who actually knows the product well enough to provide something besides just generic canned answers. Jobert - great work on your part! Great service like you provided is exactly why I purchased a second TP Link unit."

So I had originally bout this as a way to finally have a direct connection to my pc for my VR headset, and it worked great! For about 2 days that is. After the second day I was trying to configure a custom password for the network (which wouldn’t work) so I ended up just using what my router already had. It restarted, and I noticed that the speeds on my pc were dropping drastically. So I restarted the pc, no difference. And then I restarted the extender, big mistake. Not only did it not work, but it would no longer recognize an Ethernet connection, but all other channels worked. Tested it on a second computer to cover bases, same thing and no dice. I even factory reset it, still nothing. So yeah it was great till it wasn’t. It also became oddly warm, more so than I think was normal. So it’s getting returned, and I’m finding something else. Tp-link products have always given me issue, so I really don’t know why I’d try again.

I am completely happy with my new setup. For years, my home network was run by two (2) hard wired Airport Extremes. With the 2nd Airport Extreme extending the WiFi. The past year, as we have started streaming more devices, I was noticing that our two WiFi AppleTVs would start to lag. On top of that, certain areas of the house had terrible reception. It got to the point, it was better to just switch phone to cellular than try to deal with the lag. After realizing that Airport Extreme hasn’t had an update in 3 years and they were not WiFi 6 while all of our Apple Devices are WiFi 6 capable, I started to research various Routers with WiFi 6 capabilities. My final solution in our 2 story 3,300 sq. foot house consists of the following TP-Link AX1800 Router TP-Link RE700X Range Extender TP-Link RE600X Range Extender The areas with the dead spots are completely covered and speed test regularly between 90Mbps down/up. The furthest point of the house now test regularly over 150Mbps down and 100 up. The AppleTV in the living room is now using the ethernet connection on the RE700X and works wonderfully. As a side note, the tether app could never see the extenders. It was much faster just pressing the WPS button the router, then pressing the WPS button on the extenders.

Paid a little more to get the TP-Link quality. This replaced a cheap knock off brand that I struggled with for a while. The difference is like night/day. Set up was a breeze.

Amazing device until it randomly stopped after nearly a year, unknowingly. Setup is simple and straightforward; easy-to-follow instructions are provided in the box. Range is great, especially in a small household. I got it for $70+, and it was worth every penny! It's really unfortunate that they're raising their prices. It doesn't get too hot, but it will get very warm if left in a warm room. It's compatible with my TP-Link Wi-Fi modem, so it's fairly universal. It has dual-band for devices that don't require fast internet. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars today is how quickly it stopped and how random it was. After a year of having this, I noticed that none of the LEDs were lighting up anymore. I tried everything I could to troubleshoot it to make sure it's still operating and salvageable. Unfortunately, nothing worked, but customer service was easy to talk to after bypassing AI support. Cross my fingers that they will help me with this issue as it's a good product, just didn't last long as I wanted it to.

Es un equipo que compre para sustituir a otro modelo de TP link el RE650. Este equipo tiene la opcion de onemesh, que te permite unificar tu red con diversos extensores y que tus equipos se conecten al mas potente para ellos. Es muy facil instalarlo, en cuestion de 10 minutos ya esta listo y funcionando. Desgraciadamente el onemesh no funciona tan bien y los equipos se conectan indiscriminadamente a cualquiera de los extensores y al router principal. Con esto a veces la conexion se realiza al extensor mas lejano, bajando el rendimiento. Ademas de lo anterior, la potencia de estos equipos es mas baja que el RE650, estando pegado a ellos, no logran sobrepasar 200Mbps de conexion, cuando el RE650 alcanza los 500Mbps en mismas condiciones. Si la veloidad de tu red de internet es menor a 200Mbps, tal vez te funcione sin mermas en velocidad, pero si es superior a eso, jamas lo alcanzaras con este equipo. Ademas es mas caro que el RE650.

Ho recentemente aggiunto il TP-Link RE700X WiFi Repeater 6 alla mia rete e ha fatto davvero la differenza. Lo uso come punto di accesso dalla mia camera da letto per estendere il segnale WiFi, e ora ho una connessione internet stabile e veloce in tutta la casa, senza più alcun punto morto! Il processo di configurazione è stato estremamente semplice. L’ho collegato, ho seguito le istruzioni facili tramite l’app TP-Link Tether, e in pochi minuti il ripetitore era attivo e funzionante. L’app mi permette anche di monitorare e gestire la mia rete, un’ottima funzionalità. Le prestazioni sono eccezionali. Grazie al Wi-Fi 6, le velocità sono notevolmente migliorate, e ora ricevo un segnale molto più forte e affidabile nelle aree della casa che prima avevano connessione debole o nulla. Che si tratti di streaming di film, gaming o lavoro, la velocità di internet è veloce e stabile. La copertura è fantastica e non devo più preoccuparmi di WiFi lento o instabile. Il TP-Link RE700X supporta anche più dispositivi senza compromettere la velocità, il che è un grande vantaggio con tutti i dispositivi connessi in casa. Il design è elegante e compatto, quindi si adatta bene a qualsiasi stanza senza occupare troppo spazio. In generale, sono estremamente soddisfatto di questo ripetitore WiFi. Ha fatto una grande differenza nell’eliminare i punti morti e garantire una connessione WiFi affidabile e veloce ovunque ne abbia bisogno. Se stai cercando di migliorare la copertura WiFi, consiglio vivamente il TP-Link RE700X WiFi Repeater 6!

Possiedo ancora un TP-LINK RE650 acquistato nuovo qui su Amazon diversi anni fa, ma mi dava continuamente problemi di connessione da molto tempo. Ho acquistato il mod. TP-LINK RE700X e finalmente da quando l'ho collegato con il modem wi-fi sempre TP-LINK non mi ha dato più perdite di segnale e disconnessione. Non posso che consigliarlo per il momento. Tra l'altro, anche se il modem è un wi-fi della precedente generazione e non wi-fi 6, comunque sul Samsung S24 Ultra me lo legge come wi-fi 6 quando è attivo. Acquistato a meno di 30,00 usato in ottimo stato venduto da TP-LINK e spedito da Amazon. A parte la scatola sua che non c'era, per il resto l'extender è pari al nuovo. Comunque non posso lamentarmi per il momento. Aggiornerò la recensione in caso di malfunzionamenti.

Ho acquistato il TP-Link RE700X per risolvere un problema concreto: in cucina il segnale WiFi era debole e instabile, rendendo frustrante qualsiasi utilizzo. Dopo l'installazione il miglioramento è stato netto e immediato — segnale pieno, stabile, e soprattutto una banda e una velocità che non mi aspettavo da un range extender. Essendo WiFi 6 (AX3000), il dispositivo sfrutta al meglio router moderni compatibili. La differenza rispetto a un semplice ripetitore WiFi 5 si sente: meno latenza, maggiore throughput, e la gestione simultanea di più dispositivi grazie a MU-MIMO e Beamforming funziona davvero. La singola porta Gigabit è utile se si vuole collegare un dispositivo via cavo (smart TV, decoder, ecc.) nella zona coperta. L'installazione è semplicissima. 2-3 passi descritti nel manuale cartaceo, nessuna competenza tecnica richiesta. L'app Tether di TP-Link è un'alternativa comoda per la configurazione da smartphone. Compatibile con TP-Link OneMesh, quindi se il vostro router è OneMesh, il RE700X si integra come nodo della stessa rete senza SSID separato — un grande vantaggio per la roaming trasparente. Usatelo su una presa dedicata, senza adattatori multipresa o sdoppiatori, altrimenti il peso tende a farla pendere e può distaccare il collegamento elettrico.
