I would give this more stars if I could! First a backstory: I was determined to have a princess gown for my wedding and when I found the dress I was in love. When my dress came in and I tried it on I was in love. When I put it on for alterations I was in love...but when I went back in AFTEF alterations the poof was gone. It was an a-line dress. When they trimmed the length, it lost its shape because it wasn't being held out by the floor. I was devastated, and no one wants to feel that way after buying THE address.I tried to order just a slip because I was afraid of the hoop skirt, but the slip itself only poofed it out a little more at the bottom. So I tried to add stiff tulle to the top of the slip, but the dress was too heavy. Finally, three days before the wedding, I gave in and ordered this hoop skirt. IT WAS PERFECT. Not only did it make me feel like a princess again, but I didn't want to take my wedding dress off. Added bonus: it kept the fabric off my legs which was much cooler in the summer heat. It was light and added ease in manuevering my dress around. I would highly recommend it!

These hoops are great for the price. I am 5'4" tall and my waist is 30". I would have liked it to be a little longer because with my heels on the bottom of layer of fabric is about 3 inches off the ground, and that is wearing the elastic below my natural waist. The elastic waist fits me comfortably on the last hook. While this product works for me I wouldn't recommend it for taller or bigger ladies/girls. I love that that hoops are easily adjustable. I also like that I can just twist it back up (like a kids tent) and stuff it back into the bag.

I have bought 6 petticoats/hoop skirts, trying to find the perfect one for my wedding dress. This one is the best! It makes my dress stay up and look like a beautiful ball gown (it is heavy). Other hoop skirts, I can see somewhat of an outline of the hoops. Also the hoop skirt is longer so it doesnt cut off at a weird spot. I am so happy to find the hoop skirt/petticoat!

There was a little square of velcro and a string with a spring stopper to fasten the skirt; this did not work. I ended up adding some buttons, button holes, and snaps but it my craftsmanship could not support the weight of the hoops and skirt. Everything came undone and I was constantly fidgeting and repositioning and re-fastening under my dress.I'll keep this hoop and keep re-tooling it to suit my needs, but be advised that its not all that sturdy on its own, let alone holding up another dress on top.

I would give this product 5 stars. I have 4 of these hoop skirts. However the metal hoops are sharp and cut through the pockets that hold them. They over a short amount of time tear and the hoops come out and you then cannot put them back in the pockets because now they’re torn. If the ends of the hoops were smooth this would be a great product.

My daughter got this for under her prom dress (A-line). She's 5'2"and 120 pounds and it works (drags a little on the floor). I noticed that, as we were looking for hoops, Amazon showed the same picture for different brand hoops (and some of the reviews for the other hoops said it was too short) -- so just be aware that just because they look the same, it doesn't mean they are. This was a great choice for us. Very happy with it. Bigger than crenolin but smaller than a ball gown hoop (although it would probably work in a ball gown too).

Works but kind of flimsy, not at all like what we were going to rent from the bridal shop. I decided to keep it only because it did help raise the dress a little from the floor so it wouldn't get stepped on so much. The hoops seem more like bamboo and one cracked while wearing it the first time. I will keep it but wouldn't recommend for a heavy dress like ours and I would not buy again.

This is a beautiful hoop slip. I bought thus for my sister's wedding. We are all dressing up in civil war attire and I needed a slip that would go under my full dress. I couldn't be happier. It also arrived on time and well packed.
