Similar build quality to original from what I can see. Fits perfectly on both hose & attachment tube. No obvious functional differences from original. No issues with noise (which could potentially result from air gaps due to poor fitting). I had previously replaced with a Miele original but the little plastic indent, where the metal pipe clips into the handle, became a hole (small plastic square broke off, see photo) and made a really loud noise when using handle without attachment. After only a year. Even if the same happens with the replacement, it’s nearly a third of the price. My model is S5281.

Obviously this is NOT the real deal BUT it is an excellent cheaper version…we own the miele classic c1 and this fits many more too!!It is slightly different but like I said it’s not branded but it’s just as good.

I bought it for my Miele C3. So far it’s sturdy and clicks perfectly into place. Very happy with it.

Compared to the original Miele, this really is great value tor the money at 1/4 of the price. High quality material has been used, and seems better than the original as it is thicker. A perfect bend and the end that fits onto the flexible hose is a perfect fit.Now for the BUTS. At the end that fits onto the metal tube there are 2 issues.1. There is a square blind hole cut into the plastic bend, this is on the original Miele is a cut through hole, and this latches onto a catch at the top end of the metal tube. The catch cannot fit into this hole correctly and can disconnect. That means that the metal tube and the bend can pull apart. This hole must be cut right through for the latch to do it's job.2. Just behind this hole on the bend is a small round peg and this fits into a small slot at the top of the metal tube. But this peg does not fit right into this slot only going in about halfway, so that means that the bend and tube can rotate. This would not be the case if the hole had been cut right through enabling the peg to fit correctly.So all in all you can get the tube and bend pulling apart and rotating against each other. So 5 stars for the quality of the product, but 2 stars for how it fits at the tube end. Miele got it right, this manufacturer has not. I may have got a rogue item and it can still be used with care, but can also be a pain. £10 for this or £40 for a Miele, your choice. We kept this bend and will carefully cut the hole through.

Fit and function is perfect. There was a review that mentioned it not fitting correctly, so I was expecting some issues, but this is a perfect fit. Hopefully it will stand the test of time.Interestingly, my original part split/cracked on the corners of the square hole that the tube attachment locks into, but this replacement doesn't have a hole, just a recess (that works perfectly), and in my mind should be stronger, more robust item, no corners for it crack from.
