I want to explain to you again here, our mini lantern is only 5.1 inches tall, so it has a smaller shade, I don't know how big your fairy lights are, if they are smaller they can fit inside the shade. The shade of the mini lantern is acrylic, which is more pliable and you can gently remove it, which takes some patience.
