I was honestly not expecting much, but anything had to be better than what we had in our boat. Previous owner had a car stereo installed, and the retractable cover would not stay close so it got rained on. Killed the LCD but radio still worked. Saw this and thought, worth it to try for that price. Great looking unit & speakers, much more modern than what was there. May have to enlarge the opening depending on what you had before, but once that was done it fit perfectly. Was really impressed with how good it sounded. Paired right up to my phone with no problem and streams nicely. FM doesn't really pick up that great at the lake but was fine at home. That is most likely because of proximity to any radio stations. I almost bought another to put in my old truck, but the bulkiness of marine speakers likely wouldn't all good fitment. I would highly recommend this unit for an inexpensive system and get a flip up cover for water-proofing. The only downside I could find is there is no backlight for the LCD and it can be hard to read in the sun, but once I have my phone connected, it really doesn't matter. On year 2 of this system and couldn't be happier, hope it lasts a long time, but even if you get 5 years you could just replace it with the same thing for that price!

I'll give this 5 stars as it's a great little package for the money. You're spending $80 on a stereo kit and 4 speakers, so important to understand this is not a ultra high-end receiver. Can it be louder? It sure can, but the sound is clear, I can hear it over my motor at highest RPM and the unit it easy to use. Bluetooth is easy to set up, the microphone for the phone works well, too. Install was easy, if you are even a little bit handy. I replaced an old unit and used existing speaker cables rather than re-wiring under the boat which would be pain unless it's out of the water. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and recommend.

Works very well but if you turn the volume up too high there is noticeable distortion in the speakers. It also cuts out for some strange reason. You would be listening to it then it cuts out for a few seconds. I cant say what the issue is. I like how i can put a micro sd card in it and play music or a micro card. Overall its a very good product and for the value its exceptional. I've had water splashed in the speakers but it worked fine just the same. I just dont recommend turning it up to maximum or you'll get distortion.

06/05/26: arrived the next day after ordering; all parts accounted for; manufactory box packed inside amazon box; I'm going to test it out by connecting all the parts and wire it to the battery before making holes on my boat; very nice looking for the price; antenna not included; instructions included 06/06/26: connected all the parts and the radio sounded nice; the only problem was to figure out how to connect the power; found a solution by viewing a video; I had to connect the yellow and red wire together for the positive

I gave this 1 star because the radio worked great, and installation was fairly simple; however one of the speakers was broken when it arrived. Attached is a video showing the lack of continuity in the speaker. The radio and 3 working speakers, however, were of great quality and very loud. I reached out to PYLEUSA explaining my issue with the speaker, and I hope they will exchange just the broken speaker for me. If so I will be able to happily give this product 5 stars. Update: customer service was frustrating and ultimately useless. First they after for verification of purchase, and videos of the issue, I sent it all. They responded with trouble shooting tips. I assured them we exhausted all those efforts before reaching out to them in the first place. Once again I asked for a replacement for the one broken speaker. Their ultimate response was to advise me to uninstall the entire things and return it to Amazon for a refund. It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially because the product was what we wanted; less the broken speaker.

It’ll rust apart and break after a few years. Replacing the speakers for the second time in 5 years. Tried just removing the connectors that rusted and connecting the wires with my own the wires coming from the speaker are so short they’re inside the speaker. Not very water resistant materials.
