I purchased this card for my parents. It was signed by many dear friends, and they loved the card. The front design is of bouquet of flowers with an old timey newspaper print in the background. After they opened it, something strange popped out to me in the text of the newspaper. In bold letters it read: “Rob’t E Lee.” I thought it was an odd reference for a greeting card, so I investigated further. It was pretty clear from what I could read that this was pro-Lee, but I was able to track down part of the original article online to confirm. And sure enough, it is Confederate propaganda promoting slavery. Let’s take a look at some highlights of the article:“The editors of the Bulletin being pro-southern men, were arrested for speaking the truth when truth was unwelcome to Yankeedom.” (Just a reminder: the “truth” they speak of is that black people should be owned as slaves).“This paper can not cloak the fact that Gen. Robert E. Lee has given Hooker, Milroy & Co., one of the soundest whippings on record, and that the ‘Glorious Union’ is now exceedingly weak in the knees.”“To-day the mongrel administration of Lincoln, like Japhet, are in search of a father, for their old Abe has departed for parts unknown. Terror reigns in their halls. Lee is to the left of them, the right of them, and all around them, and daily we expect to hear of his being down on them. To-day Maryland is ours, tomorrow Pennsylvania will be, and the next day Ohio will fall. Success and glory to our arms! God and right are with us.” Yay! We’re securing more northern states so that we can keep slaves!So now my parents have this special momentum that is signed by many dear friends that also promotes the legal enslavement of the black population.The strangest part of it all is how prominent Robert E. Lee’s name is. You can see from the photo I posted that it’s bolded and larger than the rest of the text. In fact, you can see it on the Amazon image if you enlarge it. This product needs to be pulled immediately. I will contact Amazon directly as well as NobleWorks, the greeting card company that produced it.

I was looking for a large card for the main reason of having room for 20 third graders to sign their names. I wanted to thank the long-term substitute teacher for her time with us and let her know I appreciated her caring way with the kids, her organization skills, and her classroom management. This card was perfect from the front design I know she would love to the appropriate wording for my situation inside. I was impressed with the packaging: a stiff cardboard envelope printed with the fun words "thou shalt not bend". This was inside the Amazon bubble package. The card was made of recycled paper and the company is in the United States, plus printed NOT in China (Canada). All good. (A large envelope is included)

I will be retiring soon after 30 years of an amazing career. While I could keeping going for a number of years, it is time to go and help my grandchildren live their dream. I was looking for the perfect thank you cards (8 /12 by 11) large enough for people to see that my gratitude for them is significant. These cards are great! I will buy many more over the next few months! If you are looking for a sturdy, well crafted thank you card, then look no further.

Was shipped in a box with a couple other items. I’m assuming this is where the creases came from. When I opened the box, the card was on the bottom laying flat, however, when I took it out of the box, it had a couple big creases right in the middle of this beautiful $10 card!! AND the envelope was bent and wrinkled. Very disappointed!!!!! Something like this should be shipped with a thick cardboard jacket!

I need some card with a lot of writing space and cute enough to use for B-day: absolutely well suited for my purpose. Very well packed and well priced [ in comparison with others].

This is a beautiful 8 x 11 card of thanks which arrived in the mail - beautifully packed and in perfect shape. We plan to use it as thanks to our librarian from a large group of folks who really appreciate her. I could not find such a card in the city of Lynchburg, VA. Thanks again.

Love the front cover! Opened it up and the ink from the writing smeared on the other side of the card. 😞. Was disappointed as I spent more for this card.
