Much better made that original ones used, can handle the high temperatures and exhaust fumes.

After a long search for a G4 bi-pin 4mm LED replacement that wasn't too long for my fixture, these round Kohree G4 (2W/220 Lumens/4000K) bulbs fit the bill perfectly. They arrived today (May 2) after a month-long wait, and the initial impression is great—the light is impressively bright and the fit is spot on. These are a massive improvement over the Luminus G4 (1.8W/160 Lumens/3000K) and the Dumiloo G4 (3W/270 Lumens/3000K) bulbs I’ve tried previously, both of which were absolute garbage. Kohree claims a 25,000-hour lifespan. To put this to the test, I’ve installed one bulb and plan to leave it on 24/7 to see if it actually runs continuously until May 2029. If the claim holds true, this 4-pack should technically last me until 2038. As for their "lifetime customer service" claim, I suspect that’s mostly a play on words—essentially meaning they’ll answer the phone or email for as long as they remain in business. So far, so good. I'll be watching to see if they actually go the distance! I'll try and remember to keep you posted.....

One of the interesting things about Motorhomes is all of the lights they use to provide interior lighting. I have over 60 light fixtures in my coach that use this type of light. The ones I want to replace are all standard filament bulbs that are 12 Volt and are controlled through a Genie command center that adjusts the brightness of the lights. I took a chance and ordered these lights for my motorhome. Here is what I found: 1. The bulb space is limited in the fixtures, but these bulbs fit perfectly. It is still a tight fit so you have to be patient to line up the pins and have them horizontal to insert. I found that using a small flashlight to illuminate the openings helped me get them aligned just right. Once inserted, they fit perfectly. 2. As opposed to others I have tried, these lights have a molded unit around the electronics to protect them and to help dissipate heat. The “puck” works quite well and the light stays cool where the original filament bulbs got quite hot!!! These bulbs use 10 percent of the energy that the original bulbs did but provide more light and a whiter light!! 3. The one thing that I had feared was that the Aladdin system would not work with these lights. I was wrong. I can still dim them just fine without leaving any of the old bulbs in. What was more important to me is that I can turn them on or off without a delay. They work perfectly in the system. 4. The light fixtures in the motorhome are a giant pain to open in that they are glass on glass and you have to turn them 90 degrees to open or lock them in place. I fought for several hours with many of them to get them open. I did finally find one method that works without breaking the glass. Ensure the lights are cold, squirt WD49 with a application tip between the two pieces of glass. Just a bit!! Do NOT flood it. Wait five minutes and then open. Worked every time. Just ensure you completely clean the area and the glass before restoring service. These light work perfectly and I am very happy with them. I have purchased over 80 of them so that I have spares. Wish they had a large pack discount!!! I would definately recommend them if you are trying to re-lamp and older motorhome.

Wow these are such an improvement on the halogens that’s I have! Clear and very bright I want to order more! Not impressed that since I ordered last week, they have gone up $6! In the photo, you can see the reddish light from the halogen on the left whereas the other lights are the new LED bulbs which give such clarity and brightness. Will wait til the price drops again. Literally no heat emission so I’m hoping they will last way longer than the halogens. No flickering or delay in illuminating either. Definitely an upgrade. Please bring more into the market! I have to replace more lights and I like the 4000K colour!

I don't usually post reviews for my Amazon purchases, but for exceptionally bad or good products. This is one of the latter. Bought 2 packs of 4 each in July 2020, installed them immediately in recessed luminaries (so very little ventilation and heat disposal), and all are still working great after over 4 years, so I purchased another 4 to replace failing LEDs from other brands I was using elsewhere. The new ones are slightly different, see picture (old one to the left, and new one to the right): besides different packaging (old one came in a box, new one came in an anti-static bag), the new one has no marks on its circuit board (the old ones had "+" and "-" marks) and the new ones are slight smaller, about 1mm or so. I've immediately put the new ones to use, in one place right besides an old one, and was pleased to observe they have the exact same color and brightness. Will keep the new ones under observation and if/when any of them fails, will come back to report. If you see no updates, you can assume they are all still working good (both the old and the new ones).
