Love This Thing
The XL size is perfect for meal prep or cooking for more than one person, and the results are always consistent. The blades are extremely sharp, so everything comes out clean and even (and definitely handle them carefully when cleaning). It cuts through tough ingredients fast without turning things into mush. Cleanup is simple, the build quality feels solid, and it saves a ton of time. Overall, this has become one of the most-used appliances in my kitchen. If you cook regularly and want something powerful, versatile, and reliable, this Ninja is absolutely worth it.

Love love love
Needed a new food processor and just did not want to break the bank on a Cuisinart. I got a great deal on this one and honestly, it has a lot more settings and even more power than an equivalent Cuisinart for less than half the price. Of course the first thing I did was a throw an onion quartered into it and hit the chop button. The automatic settings somehow know when it's done and this onion was perfectly diced. Anyone that has ever tried to do this knows it never chops up evenly that quick. The large multi-level blade just moves everything around for very quick and efficient work. Hummus comes out smooth and creamy and perfect. It feels really good so you don't have to worry about any spillage if you accidentally overfill it a bit. It's also way quieter than my old one which sounded like a jet engine taking off. Overall, I can't be happier with the price point and the quality of this item.

Great customer service!
This arrived June 27. September 18th I found 2 cracks on the shoot. September 19th, I contacted Ninja and had a great experience once I was past the punch this number, say what you want, etc. messages. The tech person was very helpful and told me to return it and they would have a new one out in 3-5 days. I told him all I needed was the lid but he insisted I needed to return everything in exchange for a new machine. Turns out it's a new model and they want the first one back so they can figure out why the problem happens and correct it. While we were still on the phone, he sent me emails with a return label, the order for the new machine, and the return order. At 9:47 p.m. I received an e-mail that the new machine had shipped by FedEx. I was expecting a request for photos/video, possibly some stalling and this is what I received. Can't beat it! I'm really enjoying this machine. I use it for chopping nuts, onions, and garlic, and slicing/shredding vegetables. Mixed up a batch of blueberry muffins in it but prefer a mixer for that. Everything comes out beautifully. Best part is how easy it is to clean; just put in some water, a bit of dish detergent, pulse away, and rinse. Yes, it's big and I have to store the bottom one place and the bowl another but that's small inconvenience for what it does for me. Update: The replacement came this morning, less than 48 hours after calling Customer Service. I notice one difference in the base of the new machine over the first one: the feet on this new one stick to the counter much firmer than those on the first one. I'll be building some biceps from removing it for storage. November 29, 2022 -- I love this machine, but I'm not loving the life I'm getting out of the lid. Today I found a crack in the replacement lid received September 18. I am not hard on any of my kitchen appliances and treat them with care. This food processor gets used once or twice a week at most. I am puzzled as to why a second lid has cracked in the same location as one of the cracks on the first lid. Contacted Ninja and was connected with a woman whose English was, to say the least, difficult to understand. After almost half an hour of explaining the problem to her and eventually getting a link so she could see the part, I was told that a replacement lid would be $29 and something (couldn't understand her) and that with postage it would come to $41 and something (again, couldn't understand her). I provided credit card information and had to remind her that she needed my mailing address. At this point, I'm thinking I'll need to factor in $41+ every couple of months for replacement lids. Need I say that prospect is not a happy one? Ninja definitely needs to do something about this lid and its short life expectancy! The food processor itself is great and I'd highly recommend it -- if it didn't need replacement lids every couple of months!

A Kitchen Beast That Makes Prep a Breeze!
I’ve been using the Ninja Food Processor Professional XL for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly blown away by how much easier it’s made my cooking. This thing is a powerhouse! With its 1200 watt motor, it chews through tough stuff like carrots, nuts, and even dough without breaking a sweat. I whipped up a batch of pizza dough in minutes, and it came out perfectly mixed, no hand kneading required. The 12 cup bowl is a dream for big meals, too—I prepped a huge veggie chop for a family party without needing to empty it halfway through. The versatility is what really gets me. Chopping, slicing, shredding, pureeing—it handles it all like a champ. I love the adjustable slicing disc; I can go from thick potato rounds to paper thin cucumber slices with a quick twist. The Auto IQ presets take the guesswork out of it, too—just hit a button, and it knows exactly how long to pulse or blend. Cleanup’s a snap since everything’s dishwasher safe, which is a huge win for me because I hate scrubbing by hand. It’s not the smallest thing on my counter, but for what it does, I don’t mind giving it some space. If you’re someone who cooks a lot or just wants to cut down on prep time, this Ninja’s worth every penny. It’s like having an extra set of hands in the kitchen!

This thing is a BEAST!
First off... Please be careful when cleaning the slicing disc. I was washing with a soapy paper towel and I was being gentle and careful and the blade was adjusted to the smallest setting, which is nearly even with the disc surface, and I cut my finger. I went and got a bandage and returned and did the same thing to another finger and I thought I was being diligent. I would suggest using the dishwasher to clean it... but still be careful handling it while putting it in and taking it out. That being said, this thing is so well thought out. There is a gasket on the lid which helps with a good deal for t liquid s. There is a button that pops up and locks the lid into place and keeps it secure. You have to push it to release the locked lid. There are substantial suction cups as feet that keep this thing securely on the counter while working with it. Last night was the first time I used it after buying it about 2 months ago. I was making French onion soup and needed to slice 18 onions. I cut the onions down with a knife to make each wedge a size that would fit through the feeder shoot. All I had to do with almost all of them was just drop it in. That blade spun so fast and it I swear it sliced each wedge in less than 2 second. Like I was putting it through a wood chipper! I wish I had done a video so I could show how impressively fast it was. When the bowl met its capacity, the unit turned off. I think there must be something that triggers it to stop when the items in the main container push the disc up slightly. It never over filled. It always turned off immediately when reaching the disc. Even though this is made of plastic material, it is heavy duty. It looks like glass. It is much nicer quality than the one I had replaced it with. That ones plastic parts broke off of and made it inoperable. The Ninja works so incredibly well. It cuts prep time of slicing and shredding something down to nothing. I spent more time preparing the onions to be sliced. It's noise level is minimal. The thing has a higher pitch sound than the one I used to have. I believe the rate it spins at is so much faster than anything you can buy for home use. I feel like I'm using an industrial processor. As I said Very Impressive!

Work Saver Until It Wasn't
This is an extremely heavy duty food processor. I've never seen anything like it. This is a workhorse and cuts, chops exactly as it states. It has an adjustable blade which will precisely slice cucumbers to size selected. I've used it to chop green onions and it actually makes them look nice because they come out slanted and a little finer but consistent in size. For me green onions are the worse for me to chop by hand. It works awesome for cheese shredding. It will chop 4-5 yellow or red onions, halved or quartered in seconds. It's actually quiet. Extremely pleased with this machine and would highly recommend it. UPDATE: When I purchased this on 2/2/23 I paid $179.00 plus tax and now it's $118.00. To add insult to injury, the top of the bowl has already cracked. It's never been put in the dishwasher, alway hand washed/towel dried. After speaking to customer service at Ninja the only choice they gave me was to purchase a new bowl for $29.99 plus shipping, tax and whatever charge which ended up being $41.00. So yep, I'm pissed. UPDATE: It hasn't been quite a year since I purchased this. It's gotten to the point where I'm extremely frustrated with it. It hates cheese and leaves big clumps on top of the shredder attachment. It used to do green onions pretty good, but for some reason they don't come out the same anymore. The chute isn't large enough for an onion unless you cut it into 4- 6 pieces to use the slicer attachment which is redundant. It also leaves big chunks of onion after slicing or dicing. It won't slice a tomato, cucumbers are not equal size, same for carrots. Carrots get stuck on top when slicing. At any rate, I purchased something better and will use this one for smaller things.

Amazing food processor!
If you do a lot of food processing then this one does a great job! I was skeptical at first with its AI functions but so far it does seem to do a good job of chopping the food up as you want it! Blades are extremely sharp and like all the extra attachments that come with it. I like how everything locks into place also. Only thing that is a pain to clean is the removable sections on the lid for different size food. There’s hollow spots for whatever reason that are hard to clean down in and dry but not a deal breaker! The food processor to me seems fairly quiet compared to other ones I’ve ever used. Not annoying loud and I like the fact how it suctions on its own to your countertops. Takes effort to move it once it’s suctioned but can still remove it easily once you get the hang of it. Very pleased so far with it!
