Description says engraved, yet reviews say it was stamped and then it rubbed off. Pic looks like it's stamped, NOT engraved. Which?

I ordered two of these in 2015 for our dogs. The engraving lasted fine, although the "black" has diminished slightly. Our Yorkie's was lost with a broken collar a year ago. The other is still very readable, 7 years later. I am ordering new ones now, for our new pup, and to replace the Yorkie's lost tag. These are very good quality.

If I don't need four lines of text, will the text be centered in the middle? I only want the name centered on the front, and my info on back.

what is the size of the small round tag?

The small round tag is just less than an inch in diameter, about 15/16 of an inch. Approximately quarter sized.

Is the text on the tags etched or cut into the metal? Is is silk screened on? If the later, how long does it last?

I purchased 3 tags in 2015. It's now September 2018 and the front side is still great, the back has rubbed off mostly. I am reordering because the vet info on the back has changed anyway.

Not as good as first thought...

The item seemed great to start with and we were really happy, but we went for one of our walks (only weeks since we received it) returned home and discovered some of the engraving has faded! Not a happy bunny.

Nice color and size, good value, be prepared to wait 3 weeks though

These took a little while to arrive (about 3 weeks), but they are great. They are a nice size and have good visibility. The colors are true to what I ordered as well. The sellers also included small hooks for attaching them to the collars, which was really convenient. I have two high-energy dogs that are constantly climbing my back fence, crawling under my shed, and generally being menaces to society. The fact that they are still on their collars after a week is pretty impressive.
