I did a lot of research beforehand and even bought a few other smaller units trying to save money in hopes they’d do the job but they come nowhere near what this product can do. I return both of the “coolers” and invested in this one and I am completely satisfied!No water, no ice packs or freezing your filter to get cooler air, just hook up and plug in. Plus the unit is much smaller than all the other AC units I’ve had in the past.Best choice!

I really love this air conditioner! I have been saving up for one to help with the summer heat and figured I would splurge a little with one that works with Alexa. This seemed like a good unit and figured worth a try because I trust amazon. I am so glad I did. I plugged it in and it got cold right away and was honestly a lot quieter than I thought it would be. I had a tiny issue with the wifi and the customer support responded right away and helped me with the issue. Very few companies have this level of customer service. This works so well I am debating buying a second for my guest room. If you are debating on this save some money off the big name brands and get a quality product, you won't regret it.

Acceptable, not expensive

It’s been able to cool our home down almost immediately. Very quiet compared to most units we’ve had. We live in a high humidity area so we have to empty the tank more frequently, but the tank has seemed to be able to hold a good portion of water before being drained. I love how easy the filter is to remove and clean. It has wheels making it easy to transport. The app is very easy to use and setup. It comes with all the tools you need to connect to the window. The packaging was a lot, but it was easy to remove.

Where to start?This is a "new 2022 model" Had to pay the neighbor kid to haul the box up the stairs to unpack. The unit is well packed. That is the only thing good worth mentioning. Opening the package - the stench of fresh China plastic chemicals made me physically ill and an instant migraine. Opened the widow with a fan blowing outward/outside. Thank goodness it was the spare room and not in the bedroom! It took about 3 days for the smell to dissipate to roll the beast into the bedroom. Wheels work. How is this California compliant...other then they want to ship them out of California?The App: Is useless. It wants you to change/reconfigure your whole house system to 2.4 when everything is working great on 5g. The app wants ALL your permissions: location, camera, microphone etc..intrusive to say the very least. Probably so they can clone your phone. Nope. Hard pass.Installation: Is an arts and crafts project. First things first, wrangle the unit on a large baking sheet pan with a XL pee-pad taped to it, just in case and tighten the drain knobs! (not my first rodeo with these but will be my last)The vent hose leaks at both of the connections and where it slides into the unit, which in turn puts hot air into your room. Counterintuitive. This was remedied but putting blue painters tape on as I kind of knew this thing wasn't going to work after the app situation but carried on incase it actually worked.Unit: Only the turbo mode seems to work and now that is also questionable Sleep mode is a joke. It cycles on high or shuts off, wakes you up then goes back to low where it's supposed to be. THEN it shuts off completely and beeps with all the lights lighting up. Seriously a very expensive alarm clock that I don't want after not sleeping the allotted 8 hours because of all the noise! The lights do dim but not enough so I put a dark sock over the display. The unit does not cool a small room...not even close and will cycle all night even after being on turbo for over 3 hours with the door closed. (this was during a dry non-humid spell)Remote: At first I thought this was going to be great. Wrong again. The "follow me" feature failed right away. It automatically turns off when you activate turbo mode. It never reads the true temperature as stated by the manufacturer. It only reads the temp you set it at. Within less than a week, most of the "features" that did work are failing. There is no dimming light or backlight on the remote, so you have to look on the unit itself to make sure of what you adjusted. Dumb!Conclusion: If you want a very expensive 8 hour alarm clock...this is your beast! It's doesn't cool even a small room and getting worse by the day. The app doesn't work on a "new" 2022 year model. It physically stinks for 72+ hours.There is a reason these are always on sale...they are fresh off the boat poison smelling garbage!Reverse packing it up was amazingly easy! It didn't hardly pee at all. I was shocked. I did buy some heavy duty shipping tape so the UPS guy doesn't hate me. It was honestly easier to get back IN the box. It slid down the stairs just fine but I have it waiting on a pee pad just incase. Ready for pick up! I will update on the refund situation. But I hope more that you read this review first.THIS A/C IS AN EPIC FAILURE ON ALL LEVELS. JUST PASS!!!

The media could not be loaded. It worked great for 2 years but unfortunately doesn’t work anymore. Air comes out as humid and the fan turns on in cool mode. The air no longer comes out cooling. The first 2 years of it working worked perfectly! Given that I only used it during the summer, I was hoping that this AC unit would last longer.

This was pretty easy to set up. I needed to put it where the exhaust was out my Arcadia door so I also purchased the “gulrear Portable Air Conditioner Sliding Door Vent Kit,Universal Balcony Sliding Door Seal Plate for Portable AC” and it is okay but I had to jerryrig it to get it to work since you can’t use the output given with the ac unit so I’d suggest a different brand unless you’re okay with making it work. It’s also a bit loud, I’ve never had one before so I’m not sure how loud it is compared to others but I had the tv on as I was setting it up and had to turn in the volume from around 16 to around 26 to be able to hear it with the unit on. Overall, it’ll do the job I bought it for. No smell so far from mine like I saw some people mentioning.

This AC was easy to install. The app works great and the product does a great job cooling the house. This is really build for one large room, but I have it in my dining room (nearest window) and it keeps the dining, kitchen and living room cool and just right. Very happy w/ this product. Love the app!
