Window Shopping: the TikTok sensation! The perfect sexy winter romance

What a delightful book. Uplifting, comical at times, and full of romance fun. I have become so obsessed with Tessa Bailey's books. She has a pulse on what is pure sexy romcom goodness. That is exactly what we got with Window Shopping. I love, love, loved Aiden and Stella! This was the perfect opposites attract sexy goodness and such a delicious read. A funny, fresh and sexy story that filled me with all the best and warmest feelings. I especially loved the reverse grumpy/sunshine aspect... I never knew I needed a grumpy heroine/sunshine hero romcom until now.I adored Aiden and Stella and loved the ups and downs of them coming together. Their story was so fresh and interesting, it was an absolute delight and I pretty much inhaled it. It flowed beautifully, with an absolute pitch perfect tone that kept a holiday season inspired smile on my face throughout. The chemistry between these two was absolute fire. It sparked and sizzled page after page keeping me hungry for more as I greedily devoured the perfection of their romance. It was sinfully sexy, but somehow done in a way that added depth to their romance. It’s also a lovely story about personal growth, self-discovery, love and acceptance.I loved this book...It was magical! The perfect blend of sweet and romantic, hot and filthy, and touching and beautiful. Seeing Aidan and Stella fall for each was oh-so-lovely, dreamy and hella steamy. It was one that had me all swoony with big heart eyes. If you need a holiday read, this is it. It's adorable, fun, and so addictive.

Overall enjoyable but I honestly wished the author had fully fleshed out the relationships between Stella and her new coworkers. Too much time was spent on the best friend and the artificial drama it caused throughout the story. It was a fresher take on tried and true romance tropes. Some of the dialogue was questionable. Especially some of the “spicy” scenes. It could go from sexy to cringeworthy quite quickly. I fully embrace a person having two sides; but it felt clunky. I also wish there had been more window dressings. I would have loved to see more of Stella’s creativity on the page.

I love Tessa Bailey. Her humor is the best. I love her little short stories on TikTok and this was like reading one of those. I really likes the premise of this story! I love that Aiden is Mr. Sunshine or rather Christmas and Stella is the grouch… grinch! Stella has that right though. I thought her character growth was amazing! You can see the steps. You can see the adjustment. I as so sad for her in the beginning and by the end so proud!Aiden was the perfect balance for Stella. He’s sunshine to her gloom. He’s supportive, protective, and caring. He’s the best type of person for her to have after going through what she has.The only thing I didn’t like about this book is the timeframe/time line. The whole story (epilogue excluded) takes place over two weeks. I understand fast pacing, but I really would have loved for this to be drawn out a little more. A few months vs a few weeks. Ultimately this wasn’t a make or break for me just a personal preference for a more realistic feel.All in all, Window Shopping was a fun, sweet and enduring read that I enjoyed so much and I can’t wait to find my next Tessa book!

This was such a perfect holiday (kind of) romance.What I liked:1. Aiden Cook. He is the definition of gentleman on the street and freak in the sheets, the alpha, dirty talking kind. I loved him. This idea that Tessa Bailey presented with his character, that it is okay not to be happy all the time or to sacrifice for others happiness to your own detriment, really resonated.2. I loved Stella. I truly didn’t expect her background, but I think she is a good representation of toxic relationships and the struggles people face when overcoming them.3. Stella and Aiden were adorable together. I truly enjoyed watching them evolve into a couple.4. The plot was fun and very steamy. It had great themes and a heartfelt ending.5. The idea of having the hero save her BUT there are times the heroine said I need to do this on my own. It felt like such a great example of how a relationship should work.What I didn’t love:1. Not much. I feel like I would have enjoyed a little more couple times before the fall out. That part felt a bit rushed to me.2. It didn’t feel very holiday-ish to me. It was in the background and the impetus for their relationship, but that was kind of it. I expected more.Please note, these are very minor and didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the book.If you want a fun holiday read, this is for you! Sweet, steamy and oh, so charming.

This was my first book from Tessa Bailey and boy did she not disappoint! The intricate writing, the romance that holds you by the guts, and the humor that is just perfectly dosed not to be cheesy and for you to connect even more with the characters. This grumpy sushine romance with the man being the sunshine was everything I didn't know I needed. Tessa Bailey is now a trusted author from whom I will not hesitate to buy more books. I loved the male main character's humor, and the duality in his personnality where he has a sunshine personnality and also a very intense side. He can be very intense, in a calm and sweet way, and other times in a very hot and sexy way. Seriously, don't be fooled by the cartoony cover, this is hot hot hot and steamy. But there is more to the smutt, because it is written with so much feelings and depth that it makes the tension and angst even better. I also adore how the male character is turned on by romance and intimacy. If you were hesitating, stop right now and go buy this. It's worth it for every reasons you're thinking, and more.

The side characters were also perfect, Leland was hilarious I need him as my personal life coach, it’s been 2 days and the lighter scene still cracks me up.
