"Reliable, Easy-to-Use Scientific Calculator!"
purchased the Casio scientific calculator for my son, and it has been an excellent tool for his schoolwork! The calculator is incredibly user-friendly, with clear, well-labeled buttons and an intuitive layout that makes it easy to use for both basic and more advanced math problems. The display is large and easy to read, which helps reduce errors when solving equations. It has all the essential functions needed for algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and other subjects, and it handles complex calculations effortlessly. One of the things I really appreciate is its durability. It’s sturdy, compact, and fits comfortably in a backpack or desk drawer. The battery life is impressive, and we’ve had no issues with performance, even after months of heavy use.Overall, this Casio scientific calculator is reliable, affordable, and perfect for students and anyone needing a dependable calculator for everyday math. Highly recommend it for both school and personal use!

One of the Best Scientific Calculators in its Class
All of the key scientific functions packed into a purely solar-powered calculator that actually fits all the way into a shirt pocket. That's right, no internal battery, and it's thin and small. An easy to read one-line display. Along with scientific functions, it can do some stats and has a random number function. It does polar to rectangular and rectangular to polar conversions. At under $10, get one for home and office.

Works as expected
A simple calculator for those who don’t want anything fancy. Solar battery is relatively sensitive so you can work in almost any lighting other than dark. Lastly, works fast and comes with manual to change around settings like radian or degree mode, etc.

Great calculator, with not so much scientific stuff that you need to be a genius to use it.
This is the exact same unit as one I purchased years ago. And I like that a company is making the same product because it's a great unit. So many companies have to change things that designed well and work great, and then when they " improve and update " it , it becomes a piece of junk. But not Casio, they still make it the same way, with the most minute cosmetic changes.Though I use it for the most basic math, I like the scientific functions because they remind of being a math nerd.

The cover jams
I had to use a screw driver to pry the cover open. When closing, there is a first click about1/4 ionch before the cover closes completely. Thisn is the position I will be using as the it holds the cover in place and opens easily. If I click it the final inch to cover the keyboard completely, I have to find something made of metal to pry. it open again.Otherwise, for ten bucks, a good value. Check the keys to make sure it will do what you want.

A good little basic (scientific) calculator.
I hate using awful cellphone calculators- this real calculator does the job. The fractions function is very helpful for construction projects. The price is low enough I bought two- one for the house, the other for the shop.

has become my favorite calculator
I teach college chemistry and I go through a lot of calculators. They tend to disappear on me. I buy a new one fairly frequently and loan them to students without any real intention of getting them back. So, I need them to be cheap and not requiring a battery. This one has become my favorite. I'll probably buy another one so that I can "loan" it out to the next poor student who comes along trying to decide between rent and a calculator. The buttons are big and responsive, the calculator is fast, the "second functions" are clear and easy to read. It's also smaller and fits well in my hand. One of my favorite things is the dedicated "exp" button for scientific notation. That makes calculations a lot faster than on other cheap calculators.
