Ferrous gluconate is like an extended release form of iron with several benefits over cheaper ferrous sulfate. Because it's delivered slower and is a lower dose of elemental iron, it's much easier on and safer for your stomach, and causes less constipation. It's a little tablet easy to swallow. Gluconate is more expensive than sulfate for all these reasons. Through extensive comparison online and on Amazon, you'll find this 3-100 count bottle option of Major brand is the very best price available. (You're welcome lol)
