Well waxed, good quality but CROOKED brim!
I bought the navy and olive colors. Both look very good with dark rich colors and a good wax coating. The metal clip in the back makes size adjusting easy. Navy hat is perfect. Olive hat has a noticeably crooked brim. As other reviews have mentioned, how did this get by quality control? Hence the discounted price? Luckliy I plan to wear the olive cap hiking so I will keep it. Navy cap is more for everyday wear so I am glad the navy cap is straight. Took off one star due to one crooked brim. Just carefully check if the brim is sewn on straight when you receive it. Otherwise a very well made cap.

Very Poorly Made
The brim of this hat was crooked, much longer on one side than the other. Very poorly made, and if there was any quality control it was not exhibited in this hat. Have no idea if it's water repellent, because I returned it. FWIW, the color was navy.
