Works as intended
I have had zero problems with this ethernet adapter. I was a little worried at first because I wasn't sure it would work with my Dell laptop but it worked great and the form factor is nice. I bought a second one for my son's laptop at college and he has no problems with it either.

Simple, but it works!
This adapter is a straight Ethernet - USB C connection, no additional USB, HDMI...ports. I used one of these more complicated adapters before, but it didn't last long and I had fluctuations in my internet speed. No more issues with this simple adapter.

Works!
I would prefer the length to be shorter, as I need the space to the left of computer for papers and to the right for a mouse pad. The bottom line is, it works. I want a wired internet. Are you listening computer manufacturers?

The right part for your Dell laptop (maybe)
As mentioned in a similar review, we purchased a bunch of these for our fleet of Dell Latitude laptops where Dell has removed the onboard Ethernet port.We have had mixed results with other brands/chipset vendors, but Dell OEM has never let us down once in the past few years that we've been purchasing these.Install is plug and play on Windows 10 and above. They also support some advanced features, such as directly being able to configure parameters such as VLAN ID through the Device Management MMC.All in all, if you want a rock solid USB-C to Ethernet adapter, this one will meet your needs.

Worked flawlessly
Worked flawlessly, Hooked to my 2 year old i5 Dell 5300 2in1 connected to an older Dell D3000 docking station driving 3 monitors. The Dell D3100 Ethernet connectivity at times slowed down, and WIFI most time was solid but occasionally impacted my Teleconfencing from home due to the USB3 connection. The connectivity improved my teleconference issues. Plugged it in the USBC port and automatically setup, and I ran the Dell update and picked up updated drives. Noticed a slight improvement using Cat-6 cable on my Gig rated speed internet.

This is exactly what it says and works great
Simple, plug it into your computer and set the IP settings if you need to. I use it off my docking station at work to have a local static IP network for programming PLC offerings while I can still be plugged into the main network with the docking station.
