Will these needles fit a Husqvarna viking sewing machince\\e?

I don't see why not. It's a standard size needle. If you use other regular needles you should be fine.

Has anyone tried them in your babylock Solaris they will only slide up so far and are so tight I can't slide them all the way up?

These needles fit machines that use system 130/705 needles Consult your owner's manual and if it specifies that needle system, these would be a good fit. They are very strong.

How does anyone break a needle when machine quilting?

If you are moving the fabric too fast when quilting, and the needle hits the side of the foot, it can break the needle.
