US Tech Plastic Connectors for Wire Shelving Unit- Set of 12 (Black)

I bought these as replacements/supplements for the connectors on the Whitmor storage cubes. The original connectors were hard to remove, although they securely held the grids together. These connectors, which work much better than the original connectors and for use with the Whitmor storage cubes, are excellent. In particular, if you are building a C&C cage for your guinea pigs using readily available Whitmor storage cube grids, these will be ideal if you want better or need more connectors for a larger cage or more than one cage. Whitmor does not sell the connectors separately from the grids. These connectors are much easier to fasten and remove -- you won't need to use any tools with these.

The quality is better than the orginal connectors come with the wire cube, however, the size does not fit well. I used a glue gun to fill the gap between each connection.As a result, my wire cube organizer became less stable.So be sure to check the size of your wire.

Odd that this set only comes with 12, but it was cheaper than buying their 4 packs. Perfect thickness for some old wire cubes that I had that were missing the connectors. Had to order a second set because 12 is only enough for 2 cubes and my set has 3.

It may be my fault, but I bought these as extras for connecting a couple of sets of whitmor wire cubes and they were slightly too loose - clearly made for slightly heavier gage wire. I was able to use them by wrapping a bit of electrical tape around the corners of the wire squares.

I ordered another brand that was too 'weak' and broke an edge off trying to put an old wire cube rack back together. I bought these and they are old school...just like the old ones that came with the wire cube kit I bought years ago.

Does not fit, much too tight. Not suitable for use. Half broke o first attempt to put on, other half put out as soon as you let go.I have about 100 original versions and have never broken one of them or had this much trouble in the last five years of multiple uses.

The connectors did not work as I had hoped, but the people at Only Hangers were very friendly and easy to talk to. I would buy from them again!

I bought these to use with the Whitmore Storage Cube Grids. I have been using that brand of grids to build C&C cages for my guinea pigs and I needed more than they came with. My top complaint would be that with storage cube grids, there is a multitude of grid brands that often vary in thickness from one brand to the next so you have to make sure the grids and the connectors will fit together nicely (not too tight, not too loose) or they will not provide the stability which you need. I couldn't tell you what other brands these work with as I got them hoping they would work for my grids (specifically for the Whitmore Storage Cube grids) and fortunately they do fit them nicely. The quality is decent and they do not break easily or are misshapen like some brands of connectors that I have come across. Before purchasing these, I would advise you to do everything you can to try to find out if these are a suitable fit for your grids. Otherwise you will be an unhappy customer.
