Four Stars
The dogs love them. I can't make an evaluation of the medical benifits but certainly do no harm.

My Toy Chiweenie Loves These Treats!
My Toy Chiweenie is 8 years & 7 months old now. She had been abused before I got her when she was 10 months old. She came to me with back vertebrae problems & suffers from intermittent nerve pain. Mainly I purchased this product as a preventative for future joint problems. However, I do hope it helps her with her vertebrae nerve pain, too. She's a toy so I break this treat in half & give it to her every few days because it seems from the dosage info on the package it is made for larger dogs. I want to give her the proper dosage & not overdose her. She loves these treats so much if it were up to her, she'did eat the entire chunk & get them daily. I will be purchasing this product again. I will continue to use these treats as long as Zuke's sells them.I'm back to buy my 2nd bag of these miracle treats. My toy Chiweenie was a rescue at 10 months of age. She had suffered a back injury in her lower spine in her previous home. She lifted her right rear leg whenever she walked or ran from the 1st day I got her for over 7 years. The day after I gave her these hip action treats, she stopped lifting her leg. She has walked normally now since I gave her this product. Her Vet examined her 3 days ago. When I reported to this change in my dog, the vet said she has heard positive reports from people who give these treats to their dog but never has she heard of such quick results. I am delighted my dog seems to no longer have lower spine or hip pain. I will provide her with these forever.

Some packages are old or not right
We usually get these during our subscribe and save in the larger package, and they’re FANTASTIC.Recently ordered the smaller package to hold us over until the next larger bag is delivered, and the treats are HORRIBLE. They’re darker and harder than they should be, and my dog takes one sniff before she turns her head away.I’m not sure if it’s because they’re old, or if there’s poor quality control with some of the formula batches, but it would be really great if Amazon or the manufacturer could fix this issue with product inconsistency, depending on the root cause.

My Dog Thinks This Is Her Treat For the Day!
When my vet told me my little Yorkie had stage IV luxating patellas (knees blown out), I was devastated. The vet told me to give her Glucosamine & Chondrotin. I went to the local pet chain and spent a considerable amount for the "chicken flavor" tablets. For such a large chain, tablets were the only product they carried. They are hard tablets not easily broken in half for a small (7lbs) dog. On top of that, she wouldn't have anything to do with them, took her little nose and pushed them away. I had to start crushing them and hiding them in a piece of people food. It was such an annoyance, I began a search for a different product form and found Zuke's online. They are soft, she can't wait for her Zuke's treat every day! No more crushing, I still have the tabs left and will now only use Zuke's. The product also includes beef, fruits, vegetables and more. I am so happy with this product, I will continue to use it. My little Echo has perked up, jumps, runs and one would never know she has this condition. This condition, at this stage, is correctable only by surgery; thousands of dollars which I don't have. I thank the founder of this company, Patrick in memory of his dog Zuke. They also donate to the Dog & Cat Cancer Fund. I know this is a long review, but that's just because this product really deserves kudos. As a side note, my pain management physician also recommended "Golden Aloe" daily to help with the arthritic pain that sets in with this diagnosis. So she both and is doing well. She's my best friend, I'm on disability and won't be able to afford the surgery if and when it's required so I am really relying on these products to keep her comfortable for as long as possible and she is only 3 years old.

13 YEAR OLD DACHSHUND and our 10 mo old doxie pup LOVE THESE!
My 13 year old dachshund has had a history of having back issues (due to jumping off furniture and landing improperly) and our 10 mo old dachshund puppy has issues with her patellas. One day, I went to pick up our 13y/o dachshund up from the boarding facility and they handed her to me directly from the kennel (the large dogs were having puppy playtime, so small dogs were in their kennels). I took her outside, set her down to potty, and noticed her back legs were NOT working at all. She couldn't stand because when she tried to walk, her legs wouldn't support her and they'd wobble back and forth, couldn't wag her tail. I was FURIOUS and they "didn't know what happened." Totally unacceptable. After a few x-rays and several vet visits, steroid medication and anti-inflammatory meds, along with crating for several weeks to keep her confined (so she can't move around and further injure herself), she slowly started to get better. I wanted to still make her as happy as possible, so I would carry her around and let her sit on my lap - still keeping her immobile. I know she loves treats and I want her to feel like a valued family member, but wanted to give her treats that would really benefit her and not just be "something tasty" - I wanted something that would hopefully help her bones and joints get better. I do think these supplemental treats did make a difference and I'm very happy something like this product exists on the market for us to buy (and not just from a vet). The ingredients in these are fantastic. I've purchased other Zuke's products in the past and BOTH of my pups absolutely LOVE them! Hip Action items are great because I know they have quality ingredients to help with joint problems. I will keep purchasing these for my dogs to help with prevention of other problems down the road.I hope no one else has to deal with anything like what I've experience with rehabbing my dog (I know many have!), but I hope the information I shared was helpful. Try it and see if you notice any differences in your dog! :)
