## Description

desertcart.com: Scratch Off Map of The United States – US Scratch Off Travel Map with 50 State Flags and Landmarks – Track States Visited, Full Accessories Set Included, Gift for Travelers, by Earthabitats: Posters & Prints

Review: Clean Format and Nicely Detailed - Had to flatten the map out over a week or so to get it to lay somewhat flat but still curls a little on the sides. Putting it in a frame should solve the issue no problem. Came exactly as expected and sports some nice details and features (such as notable locations like the Biltmore Estate in NC) that many other maps lack. The flags are a nice touch as well. The color variations between the states is an absolute must and makes reading the map significantly easier. It also adds flair to the image offering a bold contrast to the black background. It scratches off as neatly as you are willing to put time into it. If you rush there may be a good number of mild gold streaks left over (you can spot a few in the image) but even at a short distance these are barely noticeable if at all. Overall great quality and would recommend to any travel enthusiast.
Review: Scratched through the paper - I scratched through the paper pretty quickly trying to get the gold flack off. I was using the giving scratcher and wasn't pressing very hard. Overall pretty poor quality. Update: The owner reached out to me and sent another one for free. It was 100% better and I am very happy with it!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How were you able to flatten this map?**
A: Hi there! What we like to do for the map is roll out the map on a flat surface and put something (for eg books) on the four corners of the map. After a while the map will be nicely flat. See if it works for you!
- Johann (Earthabitats)

**Q: Are the stickers that come with the map able to be peeled off or reused without damaging the paper?**
A: Hi there, yes the stickers are removable without damaging the map! If you keep them from being folded after you remove them, you will be able to reuse them. Hope this helps :)
- Johann (Earthabitats)

**Q: Can you scratch off the portions of canada and mexico that show on the usa map?**
A: Hi there! No you cannot, this map is only for USA. Hope this helps! :)
- Johann (Earthabitats)

**Q: Will you please make a scratch map for each of the united states? weve been traveling more in nc, & want to scratch off where weve been in our own st**
A: Great idea!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Scratched through the paper
*by T***R on September 23, 2020*

I scratched through the paper pretty quickly trying to get the gold flack off. I was using the giving scratcher and wasn't pressing very hard. Overall pretty poor quality. Update: The owner reached out to me and sent another one for free. It was 100% better and I am very happy with it!

### ⭐ Don’t buy
*by A***N on August 25, 2026*

Waste of time and money. The scratcher they give you is worn dull after only a few states and won’t work at all after. Paper is very thin and tore in several places. It took FOREVER to be so careful and it looks so streaky and bad.
