Hallo,ich habe den AMD Athlon II x4 640 innerhalb von 3 Tagen erhalten.Zur Verpackung gibt es nicht viel zu sagen, außer das der Prozessor in einer Riesen Schachtel geliefert wird. Und das eigentliche "Päckchen" (sowie auf dem Bild von Amazon) in der großen drinn ist.Nun zum Inhalt. Der Prozessor wird mit einem Kühler (welcher bereits mit Kühlpaste versehen ist) und einer Einbauanleitung geliefert. Wenn man die Anleitung als Laie ansieht versteht man sie auf den ersten Blick nicht. Nach längerem selbsttesten klappt es aber relativ gut. Bis auf die Befestigung des Kühlers, den man nicht anschraubt (sowie bei den älteren Mainboards), sondern über einen Klappverschluss. Auf den ersten Blick erscheint es schwer, doch wieder nach längerem Probieren auch machbar.Nun zur Leistung. Der Prozessor läuft super schnell, keine Probleme bei der Funktionalität. Bei richig anspruchsvollen Prozesson, wie z.B. Magix Video Deluxe 18, kein Problem für den Prozessor, er vernachlässigt die anderen Prozesse dadurch ein wenig, was aber überhaupt nicht auffällt.Nun bin ich mit allem fertig, was ich über den Prozessor schreiben wollte.Ich hoffe diese Rezension hilft ihnen beim Kauf dieses Prozessors

if you are trying to move from the Pentium D 820 dual core to this then dont wait anymore.Right out of the box this cpu runs great perfect for gaming or multitasking a lot of programs.I got it with the GA-m68m-sp2 and it worked perfectly.Also i couple this with a gt 430 nvidia graphics computer for gaming and 4 GB of ram. I can be running 1080p youtube, installing a program, running microsoft word and some pdf files and this wont slow down a bit. its really good for the price.As for gaming (please note that i dont have the best graphics card) i was able to play MW2, crysis,crysis 2, batman arkham asylum, mass effect 2, world at war or call, black ops, and many more at high to medium settings. no lag what so ever despite my not fast graphics card.I build a computer for my friend same cpu but different graphics card ATI 5670 and he was able to have good gaming computer.The stock cooler provided with the cpu works well it keeps the cores cool and its also quiet, but you can change it if you want.you can overclock this a bit more but do not push it. Instead buy black edition amd cpus.my main purpose was to use this cpu for engineering programs. I used this cpu for moderate to heavy duty CFD (Computational fluid dynamics) Gambit, fluent.As well as solidworkds and Nx modeling. Also i use mathematica and matlab. they all ran fine. I recommended if you are using engineering programs what a difference it makes.Overall the cpu has a lot computing power for the money, if you are going to use it for gaming or engineering or even a home entertainment computer then this cpu will do best, this is not the top of the line cpu but definitely this is an amazing cpu and does the job more than i expected.

Ich habe mir diesen Prozessor gekauft, weil es der zweitschnellste und derzeit günstigste im Preisleistungsverhältnis ist, den ich mir für mein bestehendes Motherboard zulegen konnte. Hier meine Systemspezifikationen:Motherboard: Gigabyte M56S-S3 (aus dem Jahr 2007)Grafikkarte: Nvidia Geforce GTX 650ti (Marke Zotac) (2012)Speicher: 4 GB DDR2 PC2-6400 AeneonWindows 7 64 BitVorher besaß ich einen AMD 64 5200+ Dual Core Prozessor mit dem ich eigentlich sehr zufrieden war, bis ich mir die neue Grafikkarte gekauft habe. Mir fiel schnell auf, dass die Spiele sowohl auf minimalen Details als auch auf maximalen Details oft gleich viele Frames pro Sekunde (FPS) darstellten. Habe dann feststellen müssen, dass meine CPU eindeutig zu langsam war für die Grafikkarte und überlegte, ob ich mir direkt ein neues Motherboard, CPU und Speicher zulegen sollte. Doch ich entschied mich dagegen, weil ich absolut keine Lust hatte, ein komplett neues System aufzusetzen.Habe nun die CPU und konnte einige Tests durchführen. Jedes Spiel läuft seitdem auf maximalen Details ohne Ruckeln! Der Umstieg von AMD 64 5200+ auf diesen ist einfach der Wahnsinn. Hier eine kleine Liste von Spielen, die auf maximalen oder ultra Settings einwandfrei laufen (liefen vorher auch auf ziemlich gut, aber nicht Ruckelfrei auf maximaler Detailstufe):Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Ultra Settings – sehr Flüssig) 50-100 fpsStar Wars – The Old Republic: Max Details – Ruckelfrei 40-100fpsBatman Arkham Asylum oder Arkham City – Max Settings - RuckelfreiAssassin’s Creed I – II – III - Max Settings - RuckelfreiRage: Max Settings und Ultra-Settings bei TexturenCrysis 1 + 2 - Very High und Ultra Settings – RuckelfreiThe Witcher 2 - Very High Settings - RuckelfreiMass Effect – Max Settings – Ruckelfrei … uvm.Ich habe bei jedem Spiel etwa 50-130% mehr Frames erhalten, kommt je nach Situation und Spiel an.Die CPU ist wirklich sehr gut, habe aber herausgefunden, dass meine Grafikkarte dennoch ganz leicht abgebremst wird, was allerdings OK ist, da ich ohnehin alle Spiele nun ohne Ruckeln darstellen kann. Ergänzung vom 06. März: Meine Auflösung liegt bei max. 1280x1024 und bitte den Beitrag zu meiner Rezension von M. Heyl lesen!Für jeden, der ein altes Motherboard besitzt kann ich diese CPU wärmstens empfehlen! Sie ist einfach Blitzschnell und reicht vollkommen aus.Wer das gleiche Motherboard wie ich im PC hat, muss vorher ein Bios-Update auf Version F6H durchführen, da diese CPU sonst nicht erkannt wird. Nach der Installation der CPU wird man beim Hochfahren des PC’s ein dauerndes Piepen hören (ich dachte erst, dass der Prozessor wohl nicht angenommen wurde oder defekt sei), habe dann den PC ausgeschaltet und einige Sekunden gewartet. Beim erneuten hochfahren, wurde die CPU anstandslos erkannt und die Treiber aktualisierten sich. Also keinen Schock bekommen! ;)Fazit: Tolle CPU für alle die nicht unbedingt auf super-hohe FPS aus sind aber dennoch gerne mal Spiele auf max. Details kosten möchte! (sicherlich wird diese CPU für neuere Generationen von Games zu schwach sein, aber für aktuelle Spiele reicht sie dicke). 5 von 5 Sterne!PS: Den Lüfter würde ich auf keinem Fall empfehlen! Holt euch lieber einen von Coolmaster oder von Arctic. Besitze den Arctic Freezer Pro 64; dieser kühlt die CPU auf 40° unter Volllast und bei Leerlauf auf gute 24° (der Lüfter ist dabei kaum zu hören!).Ich hoffe ich konnte mit meinem Beitrag einigen weiterhelfen!Grüße Theo
