I was able to ise the inife to shave of some arm hair right out if the box so it is very sharp. It's not kight or small for backpacking like some reviews said but it is the right size for if you are cooking food that isn't freez dried for a group and you can't beat the price.

Most importantly, the lock is solid. Push it aside to fold. Oiled it with cooking oil. Sharp, but a touch of the hone. Good for butchering, cutting up chicken.

Well this really is for the price a great folding kitchen knife. 440 steel sharp flat grind with supposed Olive Wood scales. Blade is not centered when closed partly because the locking mechanism presses against blade. This might be part of the design. But for the price this is a steel. Worth every penny.

It arrived on time, and was in fact, a knife.This thing is an odd knife, I bought it to throw into my day pack for hiking on the mountain where I live. It's nice, it holds a good edge, and it is useful. However, it's balance is weird and it is rather large. I cannot say that there are other knives out there for this price that would be better.

Came extremely sharp. Didn't know if I should start shaving with it or wait for a camp trip. Very light and super sharp, be careful with it.Sliced up a 2 inch steak like butter.
