Does it really hurt to smooth out the corners. Why not sand it? When I took off the outside, wood pieces fell all over my floor. The edges were also very sharp. I think if you have the tools to cut the wood, you might have the tools to sand it. I would definitely prefer a pegboard material. This is extremely porous. I believe the splintering of this to be dangerous.

I have a total of 3 cat carriers, and all 3 needed new replacement bottoms. The ones I found prio were too flimsy but these are so very perfect!! There is plywood at the bottom making these so sturdy and are exactly what I was looking for. These fit into all 3 carriers. Two of my carriers are 16x10 and one is 19x10 for my bigger cat. My cats are already exploring their carriers (I have them out to get them used to them since they’re all going to the Vet next month). Thank you for these wonderfully made and perfect pads!!!

I purchased Mr Peanut dog carrier and my little Shih Tzu uses it as a hideaway. The first pad was ripped by her since she hides her treats in the carrier and also scratches the pad. Very comfortable pad. Was so great I could get replacement pad so I got two. Carrier and pad is really nice but aI have destructive little diva. I rather her ruin the pad than another piece of furniture.

We have 3 cats and 2 soft carriers (the 3rd is too big) and since we have put these pads in the bottom of the carriers, they act like the carriers are their new homes. They love them! Because they love them so much, I switch them out with a cheaper bottom for vet trips to make sure they don’t get ruined.

My cat immediately pulled it out of his carrier and put it on the couch where he now lies peacefully in it!!
