Great cord for plugging heavy duty gear. The only thing we wished we had done was order a longer cord. But that is our fault.The cord is well constructed, lights up on the plug end and includes a hook/loop tie up. Very nice. will definitely look at ordering a few more but at various lengths.

Works as expected. Cable flex is stiff as expected given the gauge of the wire. We're using this as a heavy duty extension, replacing an overkill length 50ft extension cord (16ga) from a certain home improvement chain that uses orange as a big part of its company colors and recently gave up the ghost when it unexpectedly started sparking at the female end. This time around we went with a heavy gauge but half the length. Almost a month in, it appears to be doing very well what it should be doing. Plus the price compared to similar wire and lenght cords from local brick and mortars was hard to beat.

This extension cord is thick I could see it will last a good amount of years for me. The connections are sturdy and NOT loose that come off an outlet port. I didn’t need a 100ft cord but I couldn’t pass on this item due to the reasonable price tag. Well worth and constructed cord for all your heavy and non-heavy equipment needs.

I run mine from a 20 amp gfi to a 20 amp 2500 watt power strip to run my basement shop and experience no noticeable voltage drop running multiple devices. My biggest concern was powering my 120v 60Hz 3.2 A 5 speed drill press and I've had no issues so far.

I bought this as recommended for my electric snow blower. it works fine but it is a thick cord and heavy which being an out door heavy duty cord is expected. Seems well made and hopefully it will last me a long time.

Very heavy duty extension cord. Has a little memory, but I’m also using it outdoors and it’s very cold out right now so it hasn’t had a chance to warm up yet. Good value. Fits on a cord reel with an added washer it really works nice. See pics.There are two styles of reels, one you hold and one with a hand crank - both hold this cord fine, but the crank one isn’t as versatile. To use the cord you really have to take it all off the reel unless you wind it from the middle which I tried but it puts a nasty bend in the cord. The hand kind you don’t need to take it all off - can use the cord on the reel and just take off what you need. I prefer to have the prong end loose and the plug end on the real.

Definitely will never overheat due to amps being demanded of it, like a strong power tool. The bright red color can't be missed when using cutting type power tools. If I had to list one negative, which this really isn't one, it's pretty heavy. But that's to be expected as its not a wimpy thing. A bit of advice..... hang it in the biggest loops possible, and no tangles. This will reduce problems during use, especially in cold weather. A great price. Highly recommended.

So first off your not supposed to use an extension cord when doing level 1 charging. It draws a continuous 12 amps. But this cord can handle it. It doesn't get warm, and seems sturdy. Until I get my level 2 charger installed I have to use the very slow level 1 charger my car came with. The first few times I charged my car I checked the cord many times over the span of several hours making sure nothing got hot or anything like that. Not at the plugs or the cable itself. I chose this one specifically because it was rated for 15 amps (12 amps continuous).
