Yak Dog Chews - 1 Lb Bag

My dogs absolutely love these and they keep them entertained for a long time, which is a huge plus. They’re great for chewing and help keep them busy for hours. One thing I really like is that when they get small and become a choking hazard, you can put the leftover piece in the microwave and it puffs up into a crunchy treat. It’s a great way to not waste any of it. The only downside is the gas—it’s noticeably worse after they have these, so just be aware if your dog has a sensitive stomach. Pros: • Dogs love them • Long-lasting chew • Can microwave the small pieces to reuse • Great for keeping dogs occupied Cons: • Can cause pretty strong gas (maybe it’s just my boxers) • May not be ideal for sensitive stomachs (but my dogs seem to be fine with them) Overall, these are great if your dog enjoys long-lasting chews, and I love that you can use every last piece.

These are a good size.my dogs love them,especially my older Irish setter.1 keeps her busy for days.They don't splinter like another brand I have tried.I think they are kind of expensive, but they keep my 2 dogs happy

My dog loves chewing these sticks! They last him several days and help him practice using his canine teeth. Really keeps him busy too. I recommend for medium to aggressive chewers.

Good product. I wish it lasted longer. My dog had it pretty much finished within an hour. Once it got to a small nub, I removed to prevent choking. She loved it, just didn’t last long!

My dog enjoys the chews. He didn’t even notice the shower cap I put on him! He’s a heavy chewer, so the chew could last one sitting unless taken away.

These have been great for my active dogs for mental stimulation. They will chew these for hours at a time, and they’ll still last days or weeks. They can be messy (one of my dog eats the little chunks that break off and one doesn’t), but it’s easy to clean with a handheld vacuum. The pieces that break off don’t stain or stick to surfaces.

Okay so I like these chews, or should I say, my dog likes these chews! They are long lasting and entertain her for more than a day. But I'm a bit confused. Like all Himilayan chews, when they get down to a short 2" nub, you can soak them in water for around 10 minutes and then put them in the microwave for 30 seconds or so. It creates a safe "cheese puff" treat for your pooch that they can't choke on. I did this like usual this week and my microwave was making noises as if there was metal inside the chew. I swear I saw a slight spark as well. I'm not sure what that was about, but I am giving it 3 stars for now. Will see how the next ones go. Very strange!

Our dogs love these, we have them on a subscription because they love them so much. They are sometimes inconsistent on the color, thickness and break-ability. That’s to be expected. They last most of our dogs a good day or two of chewing so they are definitely hard enough.

I have a little 18 lb dog, he plows through these like nothing. He does love them so I will continue to buy

Takes my Labrador about a day to finish one bar, so it's good as a long-lasting chew (relatively).

It's o.k. not at all long lasting as the original Yak chews used to be. My German Shepherds go through them in an hour leaving a ton of messy tiny, sharp pieces on the ground. Not even something the proper size to microwave into a treat! It just crumbled. Also does not have that great cheesy/lime smell like the original had. However, it is a proper price compared to other brands.
