Does the job, great for Pi audio projects
Used this for a DX7 emulator on Raspberry Pi. Audio quality is perfectly fine, you could spend a lot more and not gain anything in meaningful terms. Worked well with 32ohm headphones as well as driving an amp.

Cheap. Nice clean line-level audio
Clean line level audio out. Took a bit of fiddling to get it to work with RP2040, largely because it doesnt seem to have any documentation.

Doesn't support 1.8 V digital input
PCM5102A should support 1.8v i2s input however on this board digital power pin is connected to 3.3v fixed regulator. The board always wants 3.3v or maybe 5 v. This is significant design problem and not sure why it's done this way. Such information wasn't in the description of the product.

Does exactly what it’s expected to.
Does exactly what it’s expected to do.Brought this to add to a Raspberry Pi based synth. Sound is nice and clear no noise that I’ve noticed.Only thing I could say against it (and why it dropped a star) is that the documentation is very lacking. Plenty of sources online so it’s not too much of an issue.
