I went with this one (2 pack, black) because it seemed like a good deal even before factoring in the sale. They arrived when expected and feel good and solid. I'd actually consider using one of the two to replace my old one, but its worn out hinges are nice for just being left on my desk. In contrast, these new ones are nice and firm, and much better suited to getting tossed around in a bag. I like frames with somewhat long arms, so I need to go with hard cases like this that let them poke through. Apart from that expected jutting, my glasses fit nicely inside them.

**Q: Does the smell?**
A: Strange Question.  I don't notice any smell.   The cleaning cloth included with the cases has no smell.I have been using the cases for the last 5 months.

**Q: Are the cases made from metal?**
A: No. They are very hand shelled with a very strong spring. I have had no problems with either case. I carry then in my pants pocket ever day.
