Just like promised
A little more bendable than I thought but will work for what it is intended for.

Different from original
Both Purple Thangs came in one plastic bag that was somewhat melted at the top. The items were constructed of a cheaper, thinner plastic than my original Purple Thang. This was supposed to be a part of a quilting gift but I was embarrassed by the quality as a whole. I decided to order the original Purple Thang which cost a bit more for just one. Sure enough, that second order arrived & was much better quality. So I gave the better one as the gift & kept the cheaper pair for myself. Since then, I will say, however, that I have used the cheaper Thang a few times while sewing. It works great. Just not sure how long it will last. Maybe that's why they come two in a package.

Glad I found this!
I bought this at a sewing expo back before covid. I use it all the time. It's a handy little tool that I use in my sewing room. I've used it so much that I realized I might need to get a back up. I was surprised to find this on Amazon and it comes in a pack of 2. Yay!

Handy Little Thang
I really like this little thang. I prefer it over a seam ripper, awl or stiletto when I need to guide something through my sewing machine. I prefer it to go under the needle or pressure foot instead of my fingers or metal instruments. However, I purchased this pack to replace one that the tip broke off. It was less than a year old. But since it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I felt it was well worth replacing.

Great sewing tool, strongly recommend.
These are amazing to have as a sewing tool. I am new to sewing and I have found having this to hold down the fabric as I sew (especially 1/4 in folds or edge binding. I am making face masks and have found this very valuable. I strongly recommend. Great value for the money.

Give it a chance if you don’t like it at first.
I did not like this at first. I’ve never used a tool like this but now that I’ve used it I love it!I felt like it was a little too flexible at first but it never was an issue while using it.I bought a sewing stiletto but didn’t like how I kept poking through my fabric so the purple thang really helped with that.I was making a jellyroll rug coffee mat and it really helped me with easing around the corners.

Perfect
You will wonder how you ever got along without this tool. After 10 years, mine broke - so I was happy they were still being made. I use if for nice corners in masks, pillowcases, to smooth down seams before ironing. So many uses!

Great seeing tool.
Great tool for poking out corners to get a crisp point. Also works as a stiletto to help guide fabric while sewing. Arrived quickly and well packaged.
