A Good, Basic Book on Blogging
This book, because I had no idea how to start a blog of any sort, gave me the background I needed to at least head in the correct direction. It goes over content, advertising, income generation, audience generation, social media, and so on. It is an easy read, in easy to understand, direct language. In my case, it was very helpful and I would recommend it to all beginners. I'm saying beginners because I think once a blog has existed for a couple of years, most of the basics in this book would have been learned.

Excellent, Informative Book For All Wannabe Bloggers
There are other books with the same information (although each author has their favorite hosting company). So why did I give this book all five stars?First, the information is presented in an easy-t-understand, highly readable manner. Not only are there plenty of pictures, but author Gundi Gabrielle has chosen to insert arrows to point out the highlights. Ms. Gabrielle goes on to explain potentially necessary apps, and why budding website owners may want to add them. There are literally TONS of links in the ebook, most of which lead you to information about buying another product BUT the whole idea is learning about starting a successful blog. Unless you're just doing it so you can say you have one, most people either want the personal notoriety or to put a few bucks in their pockets. The bottom line is that it will be extremely difficult, if not possible, to accomplish this without many of the tools the author has suggested. Think of this book as a guide, or a shortcut to doing things the right way.Very helpful is the "Resources" section in the back, where Ms. Gabrielle has collected all the different companies and tools in one convenient spot. Training for WordPress as well as plain old beginner training for new bloggers is also featured.Bottom Line -- This book lives up to its title in more ways than one. If you are looking to start a blog and want to do it quickly and correctly, you can't do better than starting with Gundi Gabrielle's book. Five stars.

Good information
This book contains good information about starting a blog, however it is a little confusing. What I didn't like was 20% of the book was advertising the authors other books.

I recommend Gundi Gabrielle's products if you are looking to start your own blog!
I read numerous books and websites on setting up a blog for Word Press. When it actually came down to setting up my blog on Word Press, I referred to Gundi Gabrielle's book the most. She has a way of combining encouragement, hardcore advice, and basic how-to guidance that many bloggers lack when they attempt to write similar how-to books. In this book you receive advice on: 1)Web Software, 2) Hosting, 3) Branding, 4) WordPress SetUp, 5) WordPress Themes, 6) Plugins, and 7) Blog Marketing Advice.I feel I should also say a couple of things: First, I am currently an English teacher with over 10 years of experience in the classroom teaching a variety of students--gifted, special needs, high-risk, and just your average student. Gundi aka SassyZenGirl understands the needs of all types of learners. She creates easy to read content which has an easy to follow structure leading to all the necessary information. And, there is a ton of information in a small space!Second, I can't stand high-pitched sales. The thing is SassyZenGirl really tries to sell her products; I mean she promotes her work big time. Yet, it doesn't bother me. Her style is that perfect balance of humility and confidence. I don't mind her pitching her next ebook because she delivers a good product in an easygoing but efficient manner. In short, I recommend Gundi Gabrielle's products if you are looking to start your own blog!

This book saved me hundreds of dollars and was my hand holder as I started my blog!
I just did a blog last week and used this valuable book to walk me through the process! I wish I had read it before my first failed blog with Word Press dot “com”. It was so nice to know what plugins to get, how to get set up for everything such as hosting with InMotion and building my lead generation pages with Thrive Architect. The added bonus linked video tutorials were fantastic! The author really taught me a ton in these valuable pages. Just the Thrive Architect tip from the author alone has saved me hundreds of dollars that I would’ve spent for the same thing! I cannot express enough appreciation for this amazing author that has mentored me through this process especially since IT scares me! Thank you Gundi Gabrielle! Your books have added so much value in my life! I STRONGLY recommend checking out ALL of her books! You would be foolish not to if you are trying to use the internet for an intellectual property business!
