Works well, good quality, exact replacement, budget-friendly...
I installed this cartridge on 30 MAR 2010, so far it's been 6 months and both quality and durability seem par with HP brand toners. In fact, the cartridge still seems fairly full and FYI, I normally print anywhere between 100-150 pgs per month. The print quality is at least as good as what I used to print with HP brand cartridges. The cartridge was an exact fit for my HP1200 laser printer, so it's basically plug-play. WRT to "fit", be sure you know what you're ordering and don't just trust the Amazon fit calculator (like another reviewer posted), as it's programmed by humans and humans can make mistakes...always double check for fit on other printing supplies ordering webpages to be sure this, or any other cartridge, fits your printing needs. Also, I have had no "noise" issues with the cartridge, in fact, it's as quiet as any of the 10 or so HP brand toner cartridge I've used before. I would definitely recommend and will buy next time. Hope this helps. UPDATE to review - 7 JUN 2012: FYI, that first toner cartridge, the one that I wrote this review for, lasted thru JUN 2011. So... I had a run with just one cartridge from 30 MAR 2010 thru 25 JUN 2011. I ordered a 2nd cartridge and installed it on 25 JUN 2011 and it's still going good! No issues whatsover so far...very happy! UPDATE to review - 31 MAR 2013: The cartridge I installed on 25 JUN 2011, lasted until 25 FEB 2013, and have installed a 3rd cartridge with no issues whatsoever so far, so I've been getting good "mileage" out of these ... happy happy happy!

Reliable product from reliable vendor
Timely delivery, new item, intact with HP holographic seal. Reliable vendor. This cartridge was hard to find. I've had my HP laser printer for many many years and it is still works as good as new. While it is tempting to buy substitute or 'compatible' brands at a lower price, some of those ratings and comments reveal issues. Original HP cartridges have never failed me. I would rather use original HP toner than spend time trouble shooting and/or having to reprint with substitute cartridges that leave black marks and smears (according to posted reviews of these items).

Cartridge is worthless
I put off replacing the cartridge in my HP Laserjet 1000 for many months. I was tempted to get a remanufactured/reconditioned one since I had used them at work before with no real problem. Then I recalled the problems I had a few years back using "compatible" cartridges for my Canon inkjet. Because of these off-brand cartridges, I ended up having to spend a chunk of money to replace the whole print head. (Back before print heads were integrated into ink cartridges, they were built better and would last a really, really long time - meaning consumers could refill their own ink cartridges as many times as they liked.) So, I decided to go with a brand new HP cartridge. After shopping around a bit, I ordered one - via Amazon - from Laser & Copy Supply. It arrived on time and the packaging was fine. I ripped off the thin strip of cardboard that seals every HP toner box, took the cartridge out of the sealed black plastic bag, then installed it. When I ran a test page, I had serious ghosting (image repeated further down the page) and major black splotches, especially on the top half of the page. I checked online and read that this problem may result from a bad Primary Charge Roller. Apparently this is not uncommon when buying remanufactured cartridges. However, I ordered what was supposedly a brand new HP cartridge! If I had checked out the bottom of the box the cartridge came in, I would've known to be suspicious. The cardboard has been seriously torn on both sides and then obviously re-glued. When I called the Laser & Copy Supply, I got a voice menu. I pressed "0" for operator, and the second I uttered the phrase "toner cartridge", I was transferred to someone's voicemail. This is not the access I expect to have to an Amazon seller when I call at 3:00 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The problem is not with my printer. The old cartridge still works fine except the output is a little faint in places. The problem is this new cartridge. It is a complete FAIL. Now I wish I'd paid the extra $20 and gotten one from Staples, Office Max, or some vendor who has proved reliable in the past. If I get a response from the vendor, I will update this review. ---------------- UPDATE: After leaving two messages with the vendor, I got a callback. I explained the cartridge did not work properly, and pointed out its carton had been torn in several places and seemed to have been reglued. (Later, on a new HP cartridge purchased from my local office supply store, I noticed there was a black plastic tab on the end of the foil strip that gets yanked out of the cartridge before installation. This was missing on the cartridge I bought via Amazon; there was just the foil strip). "Jacob" was properly contrite on behalf of the Laser & Copy Supply, and offered me either a replacement or a full refund. I chose the latter and he said he was submitting it right then. The credit appeared on my account in short order. When I asked if he wanted me to return the cartridge, he said, "Not if it's like you say it is." So, though disappointed the cartridge didn't work for me, I appreciated not having to repackage (and pay postage) to send the defective cartridge back, and the fact that my refund came through without delay.

Great bargain
Questioned whether this would be worth buying, but thought for the price I would give it a try. So glad I did. I had no trouble with it fitting my printer. It has out-lasted the other $60-$70 refilled cartridges we have bought in the past and the quality of the toner has been comparable. It is just starting to show signs of use and I am going to give it a shake and see if I can't get some more life out of it. If not, I am planning on buying the same one again if the prices are the same. We have been using it regularly and for a small business for about 14 months with good usage.

So Far Seems Like a Fine Compatible Cartridge
Only printed approx. a dozen pages so far. Unlike other compatible toners I have purchased, this does not have loose toner on the cartridge itself or on the printed page. Also, all the toner seems to go onto the characters vs. other compatibles where there was almost a half tone background, particularly when printing an envelope. Only concern is that the print seems a bit darker than most so it seems possible that it may not last as long as cartridges that print lighter. The packaging, my first impression, was clean and well done and to date the printing performance is consistent with the the packaging. I will definitely buy from this company again.

Some products have longer lives than their expiration dates would suggest
I had concerns that this product had an old expiration date, so I wrote the vendor. They assured me it would work just fine....and it did. I even held on to it before using it as my other cartridge still contained toner which "aged" it even more as I waited. It was not an issue. It prints perfectly with a deep black tone. Good vendor, good product. 6 months later: I didn't install the toner for a couple of months and was, as mentioned above, concerned that it would age. It worked well for a couple of months (I print very little) and then it started leaving wide toner lines on the page. The internet tells me it's likely a defective toner cartridge. I don't see any toner on the paper roller, but the printer is now making a louder sound when printing. I would not buy this product again; it may not be the toner, but there was enough reason to doubt it was still going to give top performance and now must assess whether it is leaking. Never had this issue when paying full price and buying from HP where the date on the product was unexpired.

WORKS GREAT
I was a bit sceptical after reading some of the reviews for this seller and item. Once received, I installed the cartridge which was factory sealed and it worked perfectly. A great price also and would definitely purchase again from seller when needed.

DO NOT BUY THIS TONER CARTRIDGE
I BOUGHT THIS TONER AND JUST USED THE FIRST ONE OUT OF 6 THAT I HAD PURCHASED. I HAVE AN HP LASERJET 1200 PRINTER. THE FIRST CARTRIDGE DIDN'T WORK AT ALL (I HAD A FLASHING YELLOW ON MY PRINTER), THE SECOND CARTRIDGE I OPENED WORKED BUT THE PRINT WAS TERRIBLE.. THE ENTIRE PAGE WAS FADED AND YOU COULDN'T READ IT. THE THIRD CARTRIDGE I OPENED WORKS AND PRINTS WHERE I CAN READ IT, BUT THE PRINT QUALITY IS TERRIBLE. THE PRINT IS LIGHT AND THE LETTERS ARE NOT CRISP AND DARK LIKE THEY SHOULD BE. THE COMPANY HAS A 60 DAY RETURN POLICY AND SINCE I WAS PAST THAT, THEY WOULD NOT RETURN OR EXCHANGE THE PRODUCT. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I ALSO DIDN'T NOTICE THIS ON THE AD, BUT ON THE BOX IT SAYS IT GUARANTEED PERFORMANCE AND YIELD, TOP QUALITY OF NEW AND RECYCLED COMPONENTS, TESTED TO STRICT STANDARDS AND OUTSTANDING VALUE. NONE OF THESE ARE ACCURATE... THEY SAID IT WAS COMPATIBLE WITH MY PRINTER SO I EXPECT IT TO WORK. I ALSO DIDN'T KNOW IT HAD RECYCLED COMPONENTS OTHERWISE I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED IT. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

It’s a printer cartridge
It’s a printer cartridge, so I use it for printing. Well, I use the printer for printing. The cartridge goes in the printer. But if you have to read this review to know that, you probably shouldn’t be trusted near printers. Or any other IT equipment, or any sort of machinery. Or matches, scissors or sharp knives. Or other people for that matter.

Faulty product
Faulty product. After printing a dozen copies a persistent grey area makes it unusable. I suspect recycled cartridge that is damaged. Wasted money. Need to purchase a new cartridge. I was going to send my old cartridge for recycling but it seems this only creates problems to other users.
