Great picture but internet off and on and running hot , fan on all the time, reducing the sound quality.

The screen is excellent, keyboard and mouse-pad perfectly good. I was disappointed that the power supply is now USB-C instead of using the Dell dc input. Thus using the only USB-C port. The cooling fans screech in a very unpleasant way - apparently this can be improved with a firmware patch, but I couldn't find it overall, if the fan issue can be corrected this is a very nice laptop

Received a week ago, what a perfect machine! About 2.5 kg all up including charger. I have upgraded to 32 Gb RAM and added a 2nd SSD drive: Samsung 2Tb, and hope it will give 4+ years of service. The upgrades were simple to do after watching YouTube about it, and I would recommend to buy/use the correct tools for the job. the SODIMMs were recognised by the BIOS immediately, the SSD needed to go in Disk Manager and Initialise as expected. Pros: Beautiful packaging (minimal instructions), charged the battery, switched on, and it fired straight up; No issues, not one; Display at full brightness is crystal clear and sharp; Working with Adobe Photoshop extensively, it responds instantly to even very heavy work; The fans (there are 2 x about 8cm diameter inside) come on under heavy work load, but they are unobtrusive and the machine doesn't get notably warm; The Wi-Fi 6 connection is very fast and large graphics downloads are quick; With RTX graphics, able to load Quake 2 RTX at last!! Stylish slim metal case is beautiful and seems strong Cons: Nothing of note. Still haven't figured out how to easily and quickly open the lid! It's difficult to prise apart the front edges with fingers!! - only negative point; With Thunderbolt / USB-C connections, all my backup drives, mouse etc etc on USB 3 need an adaptor, or, thinking of it as an opportunity, replacement. Also bought a Belkin adaptor to plug peripherals into. Bought a Samsung X5 2Tb SSD external drive for backups that transfer at about 2000-2500 Mb/second via Thunderbolt. Very happy with this purchase. Update mid April: After 2 months the laptop is going brilliantly except for the following: - Normal use, full power, the battery lasts 4.5-5 hours. Maximum brightness screen, full performance. - When gaming the power supply gets SO HOT, too hot to touch!! Clearly a 130W power supply is not enough when the computer is really working flat out. - The On/Off button is right next to the Delete key - when I go for the Delete key and accidentally press the On/Off has caused some heart-stopping moments! - Lack of just 1 x USB socket is a great pity, and just one HDMI socket built-in would be so good. It does come with an adaptor for this, - The new LG Gram laptop comes with a numeric key pad, my previous Acer Predator also, and such a shame that this 17" laptop doesn't. Sorely missed every day. - Opening the lid every morning is always difficult to get a fingernail to prise the screen open. - The WEI score is 8.1 which is fantastic! - It's still maybe the best out there. Hope it helps!!

I bought this with Microsoft office to replace my old HP Pavilion for business and personal use. It was easy to set up with Cortana and everything works including fingerprint recognition. The download of office was also straight forward. I thought it was a good price compared with other laptops I looked at around £1600. I am not a gamer, but it seems to have extra features, including 3 D.
