The assembly was pretty straightforward, but the stand took about two or three tries to mount (the suction end takes a bit of practice to get right), but otherwise the mounting went well. The holder is quite excellent at holding the phone level even when you hit bumps and potholes in the road, but is flexible enough for movement. The clip is also flexible enough to change angles somewhat, and fit my iPhone 7 perfectly.If there is an improvement, I would have preferred an adhesive to the suction cup on the mounting. I worry about the suction cup failing on temperature change due to the way the weather here works in terms of swings.

This product arrived as scheduled and works as advertised. I purchased two of these car mounts, one for each vehicle and I like the flexibility of its design which allows me to custom fit each mount to the car it will remain in. The adjustments allow for easy use and viewing of my phone. So far, the only issue I have experienced is having the mount falling from the windshield when the outside temperature was very high (99 degrees). At lower temps, it seems to work fine.

The suction cup does not adhere well to dash surfaces, especially those which are porous (tested on several vehicles). This forces the user to adhere the holder to the windshield. However, this also makes it difficult to use sunshades on the windshield without constantly adjusting the arm back and forth. Finally, in cold weather, the side clamps are very difficult/slow to open, and ultimately stripped the gearing inside rendering the holder useless. I purchased two of these (one for each car I own, and have also transplanted to use in rental cars), and now I'm down to one. Will be looking for a different model soon.

I purchased this cell phone mount to replace a magnetic mount that was causing my phone to heat up and the screen black. This is also the third and so far the best cell phone mount that I've purchased. It was easy to install and is working perfectly for me. It's easy to get my phone in and out of the mount and there is no shaking of my phone in the mount while driving. Thinking of purchasing another one just to have as a backup in case they stop selling this one on Amazon.

Bought 2, the one in my daily driver broke 3 weeks ago. The linkage to the suction cup broke. The one in my other car which is driven 1 or 2 times per week is still working. Like the phone mount which fits great on my iPhone 7. Just wish the linkage hadn’t broke on it.UpdateIt finally broke and fell off the mount. The suction cup separated from the mount completely. It’s now useless and it didn’t come with vent mounts, just the windshield mount.

I bought this item over a year ago, and it worked great for me without any problems throughout all this time. However, a few weeks ago it fell off. It seems that the sticky substance on the back isn't as strong anymore, and it can't hold the weight of my phone now. Unfortunately, the product becomes pretty much useless when it isn't sticky any longer, so I'm ordering one that fits into the air vents without an element of stickiness this time. Overall, it served its purpose for a long time, but the end result is still that I need a new one.

This car mount a stick on and it is easy to use. It is simple to put together and easily adjustable. The extension is long enough and short enough for quick access. It adjusts nicely to hold my phone in place and has a button behind to release the phone. The phone placement is padded, so that it won't scratch your phone or anything.

Nice! it hangs really well on my window, and I was surprised at how sturdy it was.It uses a similar tightening mechanism as a typical microphone stand does (if you know what that is for reference).My phone fits well, even with a battery case, and I can't imagine not having a car mount like this anymore.
