Bought this on a whim
My honestick elf soldering iron wasnt heating up as good and didnt have a button, i got this one because it has temperature control and got it at a decent price . Now im soldering all over the place on some indica solder. Solders very excellent

Not good for soldering 16GA wire
Tip did not get hot enough for solder to flow onto both wires and in addition you have to keep pressing the button every few seconds to get it to stay on. Secondly, the entire iron gets too hot to hold. Hard pass.

Won't get hot enough to melt solder
With a full charge it only gets hot enough to start melting solder, then shuts off. You have to continue to press the button procedure to get it hot. Won't even scorch paper. Not worth the money, add a few more dollars and get something that will work.
