Mine are size 10 and it’s tight. Probably you need the medium or large bag **Q: only the base is water resistant ?** A: Water resistant but not waterproof. I hang it next to the hot tub. On the floor in water if left any time at all your stuff can get wet. It’s not waterproof. I like the bag a lot. I like the size.
