Great motor for the money
It is a surprisingly well built, solid set up. I use the remote far more than the foot controls. The ergonomics of the foot pedal just don't work on my boat but it functions well. The remote has very good range, I use it with the supplied lanyard and love it. On a budget you can't go wrong with this set up. It may be a little louder than it's expensive counterparts but really for the money it is negligible. Love the battery meter. Be aware you need a plug or switch to isolate it from your battery when it is charging. Absolutely no complaints would purchase again.

Great trolling motor for the money.
Purchased one three years ago for my river and it has worked great. Just purchased a second one for my bass boat.

Pretty decent motor
Motor works well to pull my 20’ pontoon while trolling for crappies. Easy to adjust speed and direction. At first I thought the remote was a little lightweight but seems to work well and has good range. Able to fish for 4+ hours without killing the battery. Battery charge indicator on motor is not working right as it shows 20% when battery is known to be fully charged.

Haswing cayman trolling motor. 54 inch shaft/55 pound thrust
I installed on my 20 ft pontoon boat. Very easy to install. Moves my boat with ease. I also installed the quick release with it which is a must for pontoon with full gate door at bow. I highly recommend the remote control unit as u can maneuver the boat from anywhere on it.

motor works good remote not so much
Had this installed for 1 1/2 years works good but the remote has not responded several times and now has stopped working all together and i have used it in the intercostal for a week and it is already starting to rust at the bottom case but aside from that its good for the price

Nice trolling motor..tough!
I like that the trolling motor takes a little abuse and keeps motoring along. My friend and I were fishing on a windy day.He hadn't fished in a while, and his casts were constantly going long onto the shore. As we went to retrieve his lure the unit bottomed out on some pretty large to rocks.I was pretty impressed that it didn't snap the skeg off or bend the shaft... No worries. We got his lure back and trolled back out on the lake. That was weeks ago, no issues to this point. I would like to see a little more space on the prop housing to accommodate a transducer. I use the remote and rarely use the foot plate except to adjust the speed..Very happy with it...

Never tried it; Came in used, missing parts, easily damaged.
I started the return on this item within 15 minutes of seeing what arrived. Never turned it on but I could see a couple design concerns outside of the used condition and damaged parts. 1. Both the bottom fin attachment and the post it screws into had something like hot glue attached to them for fit and/or dampening…but it didn’t look professional. 2. The gigantic foot pedal has some looseness in the rubber that doesn’t feel like it will last a long time. 3. The damaged propeller was smaller than I anticipated and the surface is rougher than other name brand propellers which means it will have to work harder to get the same amount of thrust.
