The installation was very straightforward and easy to follow. The only note I would add is when you get to the step where you screw the battery compartment to the mounting plate make sure to apply extra pressure otherwise the pre-installed screws won't grab hold of the mounting plate behind it. Once they do grab hold though it pulls in close very securely. The hardest part of the install was removing the old deadbolt assembly that was jammed in the door.
