My husband and I have lost a few dogs that were very much a part of the family. I wanted to get something that was cute and a little sentimental. It's lightweight yet sturdy. The dogs head fits perfectly into the hand of the person. We keep it on the kitchen counter and just love it.

The wood sculpture is well made and very cute. The two pieces fit together perfectly. It's very sturdy and a great representation of fondness for dogs.

My son has a large black dog that loves to give him kisses, so he was very excited to see the carving. Very well made. The pieces come separately, so I glued them together so it would stand on it's own. Well worth the price.
