Amazing results, worth the money
I love this pyrography wood burning kit since I’m a beginner! I wasted my money on those plug in stick version ones. I bought a few different ones and none even come close to the quality of burn you can get out of these wire burners. The fact that it has 2 pens is great so you can keep a solid tip on one and a wire tip on the other. I am a beginner and was amazed by the quality of artwork I was able to produce with this. Super easy to use and unlike the stick tools, you can run this for hours and the hand grips are both heat insulated to keep it cool to the touch.I like that it has dual temp knobs so you can control both pens and have them at different temps. The dial has a digital screen and is in Celsius so just have to be aware of that. I like that it comes with 20 wire nib tips and 53 solid point tips. Come with wood chips and stencils so that your able to practice and get better. Great quality and I’m happy with it

Used once and it died - but customer service stepped up.
EDIT:After posting this review, Goodcrafter reached out and offered a refund or replacement. We opted for the replacement and a new working unit showed up in a few days. Things go wrong but at least they got it taken care of.Thanks for taking care of the issue, Goodcrafter. Updated from 1 to 4 stars.Original Review:I got this for our son for Christmas 2023. He used it once in February for about 30 minutes then we put it away. We got it out a few days ago and not it doesn't power on at all. The lights don't even turn on. No way to really contact 'Goodcrafter' and it seems it only has a one month warranty?I'll open it and see if I can fix it. If not, I'll try to find someone locally to buy the next one.

Works great, intuitive design
I'm new to wood burning and started out with a low cost burner recently. This machine burns soooo much better! At first I thought this was missing the wire nibs but discovered that they're in a little round tin (they're very light and well wrapped so when you shake the tin it seems empty). The machine heats up quickly but is cool to the touch, it can keep going for hours without the pen handles or the machine getting too hot. The pens are comfortable to use and the burn quality is very nice and consistent. It also has a wide range of temperatures and it comes with an impressive array of burning tips.I'm not sure how it compares to more expensive machines but the difference between this and the burners you find at craft stores is significant and when you consider that it's only $60.00 more than really basic burners and has so many more options, to me this is hands down the winner in value and quality.I've included the first burn I made on this machine (and only the second burn I've ever done, so forgive the mistakes) so that you can see that it even makes a beginners fumbling attempts at burning, look nice.

All of the statements above are important to me
It came in yesterday right on schedule. So I haven't had it but about 24 hrs. But I set most of today familiarizing myself with the Good Crafter pyrography machine. So far I haven't found anything to dislike about it. It has been simple to use, I like knowing the temp of my pens and having a way to control it. I really appreciate my pens protective grips as I can use it longer without wondering why my hands don't have blisters on them. Since it has the two pens one solid and one wires I don't feel like the cost of the nibs I already had was a waste of my money because my machine is set up for both kinds of nibs. At the moment I would highly recommend the purchase of the Good Crafter pyrography machine. The only thing I would suggest to people is that if you haven't done pyrography before is to try the cheaper ones or I guess you would call them starter pens to find out if you even like pyrography before you invest money in the more expensive machines like the 'professional' ones.

Broke first use and barely burned wood
Broke first use and didn't burn wood unless put on highest head which scolded the wood. Terrible. Most attachments didn't work because wasn't hot enough. Top rack won't stay on which makes it dangerous.

Good Tool. Great Company
I purchased this tool after watching videos online. I am a novice at wood burning, and this comes with a lot of options and pen heads., which I was excited aboutWhen the plastic base that held the pens to the top of the device broke upon installation, I was very concerned about my purchase. However, after emailing the company, they issued a replacement immediately, and followed up with me until they knew I not only had the replacement, but that I had no other issues. My deepest gratitude to Mary and Sylvia in resolving this so quickly! I've used the tool now, and it works great!

Solid Point Pen not Hot Enough
Update. Replacement arrived and has the same original issue. Solid point pen doesn't get hot enough. ---Another update. Seller offered to send me a replacement even though I already returned the defective unit and have been refunded. The new unit is on the way. I will update again on the working status of the replacement.------Just wanted to update and mention the seller did reach out and offered to send a new unit. However, I had already returned the unit as defective. For this reason I have added a couple stars.Original feedback below:The solid point pen does not heat up enough. I have it turned up all the way and it barely burns wood. I have checked all connections and everything is tight.Overall nice unit. Seen a few video reviews and it looked like a nice beginner setup. Best of both worlds, a solid point pen and a wire nib pen. Plus both pens could be used at the same time. The wire nib pen works fantastic. Very easy to use and adjust. Now if I solid point pen would work, I think this would be a great unit for beginners. I should have just bought the dual wire nib unit instead.
