This device is a simple solution for those who want to crack their windows at night but are concerned about security. They look good and are easy to install and use. They won't damage the lower sash because of the included rubber bumpers. If you want to open the window fully, it is easy to flip them to allow for that.

These are really nice pieces. They probably won’t work on any non-Anderson window. They’re thick and very specific to the sash design they were intended. Didn’t work in cheap replacement windows we bought them for. Profile wasn’t close. Make sure they are for your windows

Very effective for certain Anderson windows as a child safety lock. It allows for easy complete opening while stopping them at a 3-4 inch height for children. Be sure to check that you have the correct windows. Reasonable installation. Allow at least 30- 40 minutes for the two locks. Once you understand how it works, you can do others much quicker.

We have Anderson 400 Series Tilt-Wash windows and installed three sets of these WOCDs. It cracked one of my windows, even when following the directions to the t. Would be extremely weary of installing these and cracking your window!

I have a double hung window, but the gap between the two frames is wider than the bracket. Maybe it’s only for Andersen windows, but should probably stare that more clearly

Used on non-Anderson windows so I had to make small spacer blocks and use longer screws. Worked fine but I think if someone was determined enough to get in they could probably force these open. Still they are better than alternatives that I have seen.

Great babyproofing for our Andersen windows. They look great and I'm glad they're available on Amazon for less than the full retail price. They are pretty easy to install (just need a drill and screwdriver), even though it's a little scary to drill into your windows. The kit even comes with a mechanical pencil to mark your window, so I have a bunch of extra pencils now. As far as how effective they are, the kids have now taken to climbing on the windows and toggling these, but at least there's 2 on each window, so there's an extra layer of security.
