If you get an older model cartridge like I did (no color coded M label on it if you need to identify it, see photo) , I would recommend sending it back immediately. I don't use much magenta so it lasted 1.5 years before failing, but it still has 50% of the toner left according to the printer. For the $100 price tag for a "genuine canon toner cartridge" I expected it to last until the toner was consumed, but the magenta is badly streaked, gently shaking does nothing, I need to replace it.Refurbished, older generation models of toner cartridges with limited lifespans probably should not be sold for the full price on the official Canon amazon. Maybe list as a different ASIN.

This works just fine, but when I bought it, I didn't realize you could buy a cartridge with greater capacity and a better ink/cost ratio. Spend the extra $50 to get twice as much toner. Next time. I'm new to the laser printer world, so the capacity of these things is much more cost efficient than ink jet cartridges that dry out over time.

The toner works well until it starts to get low. I was down to about 15% life and my prints started coming out looking really bad. I replaced the black and everything came back to normal, so was definitely the toner. I do all the cleaning maintenance on a regular basis but did not help. Overall I really have no choice but to keep buying it, but I don't like that I lost so much potential printing because of sub-par quality.

Got this toner for our work and without knowing it I got the wrong size. well at work we dont use supplies until the other supplies in use is done. so when i finally had to refill the toner it wouldnt fit i mean it barely didnt fit and i looked on the both and it had a couple letters different.. i tried returning but they have a 15 day return policy so...needless to say i have 4 toners that are wasting away on our office shelves never to be used.

I use Canon Image class laser printers. I have used 4-5 different, “off brands” to “save money” The last Image class i purchased, i was able to compare the OEM Canon ink to the “off brands” on another printer - No way are they even close - the Canon OEM is light years better - Sticking with Canon OEM

I bought a genuine Canon Genuine Toner, Cartridge 046 Cyan (1249C001), because the last non-Canon toner cartridge that I purchased through an Amazon seller leaked toner. I thought I'd pay more and get the real deal. The reviews were good. However, I installed the cartridge shortly after receiving it and within a couple months, the printer gave me an error code and said the cartridge had EXPIRED!!! I print mostly black, so there's now way all the Cyan toner was used. I can't recommend buying. It was a waste of money.

The seller is fast, it arrived on time and its a good for canon printer MF730C series and you need 4 of different cartridges (black magenta and yellow) So actually is expensive but good for office use. Then its affordable. I couldn't find this model cartridge in my country so I was glad that we could purchase online and the delivery was very fast to our Forwarder.

I am suspect of this cartridge as it’s the first one we received that has a different box and pull tab in the cartridge vs the ones I buy at the office superstores. It is strange that the cartridge is also not marked in this case with a cyan sticker like all the other new ones and I suspect Canon maybe reusing cartridge blanks recycled to fill and resell.

Had to change toner with less than 300 color pages printed in draft. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase
