works great. I have held onto my old laptop (running windows 7) because it has a built in dvd player. The wifi adapter died. Couldn't be fixed. Now it is up and running again. Works perfectly.

I picked this up for an older desktop that kept dropping its WiFi connection, and it made a noticeable difference right away. Installation was pretty simple and my computer recognized it without much trouble. The connection has been stable for everyday stuff like browsing, streaming videos, and downloading files. The speeds are good for what its rated for, although I wouldnt expect anything crazy if youre paying for really fast internet. The only reason im giving it four stars instead of five is because I had to update the driver to get everything working the way I wanted. Once that was done, its been reliable ever since. For the price its a solid little adapter and well worth it if youre looking for an inexpensive upgrade.

I was a little skeptical at first because of the price being pretty cheap (which I don't have a problem with), but what won me over was the great reviews on it. My PC tower was built without a wifi card and I've been using ethernet, which meant my desk had to reach the wifi with the ethernet cable. I got this wifi adapter because I don't know how to build in the wifi card and also because I was tired of the long ethernet cable. The adapter connected to my wifi perfectly without issues. I also tried a heavy game (Marvel Rivals), played a round to see if it lagged or had any issues, and I had no issues whatsoever. I know the downloading speed got some mixed reviews, but personally it's not a issue for me. Overall this Wifi Adapyer is 5 starts for me.

Used this as a replacement for the Steen pinball wifi dongles that come stock in the machine. Great replacement and hasn't had any connection problems since I put this in.

plug and play, quick to install and use BUT can't stay on for more than a few minutes or hours at the time... plug it in a different USB port, it works!... for 10 minutes than no connection. Honestly, for the price I didn't expect it to be gold plated if you know what I mean... but sadly, it doesn't perform when I need it. Get something slightly more expensive instead. Avoid this product.
