This product is well made and substantial. It gets the job done for stopping a door using a floor mounted approach. The installation is two fold. There is an in floor rod stop in addition to the in floor mounting screw. This combination provides for a strong door opening stop point resistance. It is reasonably priced and you receive value for the money spent.

The door stop looks and works great. Does exactly what it’s intended to do stops doors and prevents door handles from damaging your walls it gets five stars

This item stops the door knob from hitting the wall thus no dents in the wall. 7/24/23 I the person who asked re this product the door has to be level with the stopper . Measure stopper and see if door will hit it.

Works perfect for my installation.....although I needed to construct a small base for it as the bottom of my door height (exterior door) was higher that the stop.

We have a door that will hits a nearby wall before it gets close to the wall that it’s mounted to. This makes it hard to use a standard wall mount stopper. For this situation, this floor mounted model was the perfect choice.- Nice finish blends in with our hardwood floors and isn’t super obtrusive.- Soft rubber pad doesn’t damage the door.- Mounting screw and pin make for a very solid install.- Flexibility to install wherever you need it (be careful not to create a tripping hazard though)Cons:- Installation is more involved than a wall mount bumper, but no harder than others of this type- Won’t work if your door has a big gap at the bottom- Not much in the way of installation instructionsTips for installation:- open your door to where you want it to stop- Place 1-2” wide painters tape on the floor with the edge of the tape aligned with the edge of the door. (I also used another piece parallel to the wall to remind me of the max distance from the wall I wanted the bumper to stay within)- Measure back from the door edge side of the tape 5/8 inch and make a line parallel to the door edge of the tape.- Drill a 1/4 inch hole deep enough for the dowel pin- Place the door stop in place with the dowel pin in the hole and align the bumper face with the edge of the tape- Mark the screw hole with a pen- Remove the bumper- Drill a 1/8 or 5/32 inch hole at your second mark deep enough for the mounting screw- Remove your tape- Put the bumper back in place and install the screw with a Philips screwdriver

This worked well to keep my solid wood door from hitting into the wall. It was very easy to install and looks aesthetically pleasing as well. I'd definitely recommend this for heavy duty solid core doors.

Should Have picked something like this door stopper up sooner. The wall behind the front door in my living room looks a hot mess. The doorknob has left a permanent indentation in the wall. Installing this stainless-steel stopper on the floor between the door and wall has stopped the damage from getting any worse.Wish it was magnetized for it could had made an excellent door holder too. Being encircled in silicone seems to absorb sound for I can barely tell when the door comes in contact with it. One of those subtle features that people often over look until they start using the product.Easy to install, works as described, can’t say one bad thing about this stainless-steel door stopper.

This is heavy duty and looks great. It did not come with a way to attach it. I had to go to the Lowes and buy a stainless steel screw. Other than that it is great.
