In one place this says to apply monthly and in another place says to reapply after bathing or swimming. So which is it?

Hello, The Spot on will last up to a month, assuming your dog doesn't go swimming or is bathed more than once a month. Spot On is water resistant so if your pet gets wet temporarily such as in light rain, the repellency remains, however, it should be reapplied after swimming or bathing. If your dog swims frequently or is given frequent baths, the Collar might be a better option as it can be removed for swimming and bathing, and then put back on.

Is the cedar oil from yellow cedar or another type of cedar?

Hello! There are many varieties of cedarwood oil, and Wondercide specifically chooses steam-distilled natural essential oils that are approved for pets and people of all ages. Our cedarwood oil is derived from Texas (Juniperus Ashei or Mexicana) and Virginia (Juniperus Virginiana) cedar, which do not contain phenols or phenolic compounds (this is verified via testing on every batch that we receive). All of our products are also properly diluted as we never prescribe full-strength essential oils. Please let us know if you have any further questions, we're here for you!

Does this repel chewing lice?

Our Flea & Tick Spot On was not made for use on this pest and we haven't formally tested this product for use on lice either. This product is primarily for repelling fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes.
