This book really explains how the tiva c controller works and how to control it. It has simple examples and even shows some programs in assembler language. Along with some schematics of circuits and charts. Errors and Omissions
Overall good book. In light of the fact that there are few books on this subject it is a welcome addition to my library. However it does have a fair number of errors and omissions. Most are obvious enough that you don't get completely stuck, but they cause a lot of wasted time flipping back and forth trying to find other page references to support what the author is talking about. Would be great if the book had an errata or discussion forum, but I haven't found it. Also would help to have an index of all registers covered in the book with their page numbers.

The content deserves four stars. It helped me a lot in at a programming course i took last semester. the print however ist really dissapointing. You can see every pixel in some Illustrations. Also the letters aren't clearly vissible all the time.

Very Good book to write drivers from scratch. But this does not cover assembly language as in previous Mazidi AVR, X86 controller, generic arm assembly is provided in saperate book. Apart from that very good book to start and also understand protocols.

El libro contiene la teoría básica para utilizar la tarjeta. Pero lamentablemente, el libro que me llegó no se ven bien los programas de ejemplo, es decir, no se tomaron la molestia de usar más tinta para imprimir, aunque parece más una copia de la copia.

This book really helped me learn more about programming MCUs from a register level. The book takes you step by step learning about programming the different peripherals at a register level. I'm glad the authors didn't just use the Tiva Library for the code, but instead they teach you how you can write your own library. There are a few typos here and there but it's not a big deal. Also if your delay function is not working, turn Optimization in the compiler to Off.
