I raise Triops, in a fish tank, and needed a way to transfer water, though an external water filter. Side Note: Triops have been on earth, for nearly 300 Million years. They're even called 'Living Fossils' due to their age. They're eggs can survive, dried out, for years. They're grow to almost 3 inches (75mm) in length. They're really interesting to watch, too! Anyway.... I was looking for a small pump and found this one. The pump is running, right now, and it works very well. It's also very quiet. This is a good little water pump. I use it in my Toyota 4Runner that I turned into a solo camping vehicle. I order to have water for washing pans or my hands I have a little sink. I wanted a way to have water flow from my water storage container to the sink. So I needed a water pump. This pump is very small (a good thing). It pumps the water a fair rate, but the flow is not too strong. Since I have a limited water supply, I wanted a pump that did not flow too fast. This pump is perfect. I hooked up a pressure foot switch. Now I can step on the switch and have water flow only when I want it. The pump is not very loud and has been working well.

Use this pump in our Kimbo camper for the sink faucet. After about a year, it still works great. Keep in mind. It’s not a pressure pump, i.e. it doesn’t shut off once it reaches a certain pressure like RV pumps. This is the style we wanted and are very happy.

Pump works fine, however, if the water reservoir is located above the pump, water will continue to trickle through the pump even when the pump is not running. This is a problem for my application. Update: An easy solution to the problem above it to put a solenoid valve in line with the pump. These are available on Amazon for about $9. The 12V energizes both elements. The water flows through the pump/valve at full speed, and the valve shuts off the water flow when pumping ends.

Bought 2, to replace a pump that was damaged because it ran dry for many minutes. Installed it in minutes. Filled the lines with water before operation. Worked great.

Installed as a replacement pump for a Ryobi misting fan. It didn't produce enough power to produce mist through the fan.

This little pump works great for pumping out the water, over flows trays in my tent. And a small 12 volt, 650ma wall wart supplies plenty of power.
