Works well for the price point. No problems encountered, plug and play.

Using this to connect a 4K TV to a PC tower as an additional display; working perfectly for that use. Plugs in securely, and is built well and durably. Nice metal casing.

I was skeptical about this. I have had cables that convert hdmi to dp and always had issues with them. I was unsure this connector would work for what I needed it for. I was wrong. This thing is cheap and works incredibly well. I have had no issues with resolution or picture quality. Can't comment on sounds as I've been using another sound source. Good product.

Is good, works well, but this gadget should hold the HDMI cable weight in horizontal position, It could have been better if I bought a Display port to HDMI cable

I had only one HDMI port and wanted to use 2 monitors. I use this adaptor, and it works great. Now I can split my work on separate monitors.

I recently had a media center desktop computer upgraded to new components (CPU, Memory, etc.). This computer had two HDMI outputs. In the "second" system in which I use this computer I have a 7" monitor and a video projector. I use the monitor when I play music and the projector when I show movies using this system. (I can use them both at the same time but I usually do not do so.)Well, that media center computer HAD two HDMI outputs but the newer components came with only one HDMI output and one Display Port output.
